The rooms were very dirty, although when we complained about the status of the rooms, they did offer us new rooms. They tried their best to provide a good experience

The staff was so friendly and always ready to help! The bed was good! The breakfast was really good!

The room required proper cleaning, there was dust in the cornered and other places. We also found a sock in the room from the previous guests, that means the hoovering was not done. Also the hotel requires repair: swimming pool, corridors.

Disappointing

Very basic for the price.

The location

The reception staff were very grumpy upon arrival, not very welcoming - think it was the end of her shift. There was blood on the bathroom toilet seat, cracked/ peeling paint work on the ceilings. Very basic room for the price paid. Left phone charger behind by accident and ended up being stolen by the housekeeper.

Room shower drainage was clogged, reported but not fixed. Didn't follow the leisure club closure times as advertised on their brochure on the boxing day. No drinking water provided in the room.

Location too far out of city

Helpful staff, nice dinner.

Location too far out, taxis there and back, costing 19.00 each way. Needed due to having grandchild with me, both exhausted having battled through Waverley station, caught up in train cancellations, unable to get home.. The room was in the basement, and the corridors looked dingy and unwelcoming. Pillows were hard. The hotel name refers to Murrayfield , which in my haste to find a hotel, due to the unplanned extra night I took to mean near the stadium, is misleading, much further out.
