    The Lenox Hotel and Suites has a rich history dating back to 1896. As the oldest continuously operating hotel in Buffalo, NY the building is now both a hotel and residential building in the heart of the Allentown district, just minutes from downtown.

    Didn't live up to its pricetag
    Historical style. Location. Room size and bathroom cleanliness (although we didn't use the shower so I can't speak to that). We saw the downtown skyline and NYE fireworks from our window.
    TV & phone didn't work. The sheets were like course sandpaper & appeared brand new out of the packaging with fold lines; I doubt they'd been washed before & the receptionist did not help us attain a new set. She also couldn't get the TV to work. There was leftover food & drink inside the fridge when we arrived. It was horribly hot & no instructions were present for adjusting the old steam radiators. We left word about all the issues but it's been 1.5 days and no response yet from management. This cost over $200 & sadly was not a good stay.

    Comfortable room at a good price, would try this place again
    The room was built like a mini-apartment, with separate bathroom, hallway & storage closet. Unlike any hotel I've stayed in before, I was able to open the window for fresh air. TV worked well & wasn't difficult to navigate. Microwave & Refrigerator also worked well. Beds were very comfortable. Room was easy to find, no wandering around long hallways.
    Was a tad bit far from the city, took long hikes to get where I was going. Didn't find any vending machines, however there is a Walgreen's right next door, which was very convenient. There wasn't many outlets available to charge my electronics, one near the floor & one in the bathroom. No thermostat to control room temperature, but in late December, this wasn't an issue really.

    This was the second time there, first time was fine this time we slept terribly. When the heater turned on there would be loud noise of metal expanding for at least a minute. Bang, bang babang bang babang babang bang. As well other tenants would slam the door when coming or going. Don't think I'll be back.

    Very well located, just outside of downtown Buffalo...25 minute walk
    Probably the shower/bathroom could be updated

    Perfect stay in Buffalo
    The hotel is full of character and as someone who loves historic places it was perfect. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean (walked in and you could smell that it was clean) and it was an overall great stay! Duvet cover was so soft and the bed was comfy. 10/10 place to stay! Was close to downtown and the KeyBank Centre!
    There were two small things that would have been a little better: 1. the heat in the room. We turned the rad off and it was still very warm in the room. But the joys of an older building is they are limited on what they can do for that. 2. the duvet cover was SUPER SOFT but the sheets and the pillows could have been a little better. But overall not bad at all.

    Lenox Hotel is the place to stay in Buffalo when you want to roam, it's my home away from home.
    The room was clean and smelled lovely and the price was right, very friendly staff,
    Nothing to complain about.

    Quaint little hotel, sufficient for a place to rest your head.
    Entrance is nice and welcoming. The room had basics like a fridge and microwave which were nice. Cutely aged hotel.
    Due to the age of the hotel the rooms were a little lacking- room temp was hot and no way to control the temp, no available outlets.
