We loved everything about it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Republique! The place is wonderful, the bungalows are very nice and comfortable and in contradiction to other places weve slept in Thailand: the beds are also very comfortable! Its located in a bit more quiet part of Koh Chang -which we really loved- surrounded by beautiful nature and the bird sounds really have a bit of a jungle experience. Its close to nice restaurants and beaches and if you have a motorbike its very easy to explore the rest of the island. But what we loved the most about our stay are the absolutely amazing hosts! Fred and Pilou are the friendliest people who make you feel at home and we immediately felt so comfortable around them. They are very helpful if you need anything, make the most amazing breakfast and Pilou makes really good cocktails at the beautiful and cozy rooftop bar (with very nice view during the sunset!). I would definitely recommend this place and will 100% come back next time :)

Modern nice huts in the silent location

We found what we wanted to have - silent location but still everything easily reachable by a motorbike or a taxi. The resort has modern-looking minimalistic but tasteful individual huts in the silent location, on the boundary with a national park. It is ran by a french couple who were very accommodating, supportive and giving great tips! We felt very welcomed!

Paradise found

One of the highlights of our 7 months travelling. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming during our stay on Koa Chang. Location is near to an array of restaurants and stores. Few different beaches all 10 mins away walking or in a taxi. Breakfast each day was excellent and they have a lovely bar for socialising and watching sunset each evening. Rooms are clean, cosy and make you feel like youre in the jungle. Merci beaucoup for everything Pilou and Fred. We hope to return someday!!!

Great small resort, peace and quiet.

Lazy Republique is a fantastic small resort with very engaged owners and family-like feeling. We especially liked the cleanliness, comfy beds, friendly staff and quiet location. And breakfasts! Fred and Pilou made our stay amazing.

Relaxing days at Lazy Republique

We had a very good time, since the place is perfect to relax. The rooms are comfortable and modern. It was nice to hear the sounds of the jungle. Fred and Pilou a very friendly and helpful and always open for a chat. The whole atmosphere felt very hospitable. We will definitely come back!

Very nice location, quiet area with access to only beach within minutes. A few massage places and nice Thai within walking distance. The owners were very friendly and helpful for tips around the island

It truly feels like being in the heart of an exotic and untouched paradise. The owners of the place are simply delightful! Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel instantly at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional, providing us with invaluable tips and recommendations about the island and other must-visit places. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered a charming restaurant that will forever be etched in our memories; the food was nothing short of divine! A special shout-out goes to Pilou and Fred, the incredible hosts who made our experience truly unforgettable. Their genuine care and attention to detail surpassed all expectations. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet them and be their guests. They are without a doubt the best hosts we have ever encountered. In addition to the enchanting surroundings and wonderful hosts, the property boasts a magnificent swimming pool that was an absolute savior during the scorching midday heat. Taking a refreshing dip in the pool was an incredible way to cool down and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And let's not forget the lovely garden, adding an extra touch of serenity and natural beauty to the whole experience. Overall, discovering this place has been an extraordinary stroke of luck. We are filled with gratitude for the remarkable experience and the memories we have created. This is truly a place that leaves an indelible mark on one's soul. The only downside of our stay was that we had to reluctantly continue our trip. We were so captivated by the place that we couldn't help but wish for a time-stopping device to extend our stay indefinitely. Pilou and Fred, if only you could have magically made our departure date disappear, we would have happily stayed forever, leaving all our travel plans behind!
