The Lavender@Guesthouse received high satisfaction from a family of four, despite some noise from the night bazaar. The host, Anuar, was knowledgeable and helpful, providing complimentary snacks and (Read More)drinks. The friendly staff and cats added to the homey atmosphere. The guesthouse had a shared kitchen, great location near markets and restaurants, and clean and comfortable rooms. Overall, the guests had a fantastic experience and would definitely return.

Exceptional

Thank you, Anuar for your kindness. I felt great there although it was quite short. The neighbourhood it's full of plenty eateries, walking distance to the down town and the bus stop to Melaka Sentral bus stand. The common bathroom and toilet were very clean , the free good coffee gave me a good start in the morning , the common area to read a book or have a chat was very cosy.

A nice charming hostel with a great host

Location was great, the host was very welcoming and nice! An earlier Check-in was also no problem, as our room was already ready. We only stayed one night, but it was a great stay!

The guesthouse is near the famous tourist attractions, such as A Famosa, The Stadthuys, and shopping mall, such as Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, and so on, which is very convenient to go by just using Grab.

Although the guesthouse is near the attractions, but there are kopitiams downstairs, which a lot of people may gather there, and some events may be held nearby and the noise could going on until 1am. It would not be a problem for night owls though.

Comfy bed and slept well - cats were the best bit

Anuar the host was very attentive and made sure everything was ok for us from the moment we turned up. There are 2 lovely, friendly cats who live there too which is a bonus. The common area is big, bright and relatively comfy, although a sofa would be nice to make it more relaxing.

The shower was a bit rubbish. The street market outside is very noisy until past midnight on Friday - Sunday nights.

Very helpful and kind host. Clean rooms and great area

We loved our host and the two cats on property. The place was clean and the area was amazing there is a street market on the weekends right outside. Safe and central located. We cant wait to return!!

Superb

Anuar is the host and hes an angel! You couldnt ask for better staff. We needed help when we first arrived, and he sorted us out so quickly, and was so accommodating. The common area is so gorgeous and the 2 cats are very friendly. They have a mini kitchen with hot and cold drinking water and some crockery and cutlery you can use. We also extended here another night because we liked it so much.

Worth staying. Location is great, guesthouse is spotless and Mr Anuars knowledge about what you might enjoy is invaluab

Mr Anuar was exceptional. He was welcoming, wonderfully hospitable and so very kindly accompanied me on a day trip to Muar which I just loved. As always, its the people in guesthouses that make your stay memorable. Anuar did just that.
