Superb

Perfect New Years Eve holiday and definitely recommendation!

Breakfast was amazing. Beds are extremely comfortable. Stuff is very polite and professional, especially young blond lady on the reception, don't know her name unfortunately. Bathroom is also very modern and practical. Location is great, with free parking. Hotel is also dog friendly, which was the reason why we chose it on the first place.

When we just arrived, the room was not cleaned properly (spider web above the window and bed, little bit of human hair on the bed). We went to reception to make a complain, and left to dinner. When we came back to the room, everything was perfect. Great reaction so we don't mind this issue. When we saw the photos of hotel on Booking, we were thinking that we will sleep in the castle, but we read in the comments that the hotel is near the castle so don't be disappointed because hotel is still amazing.

Place to relax

Very quiet place with free parking. Warm room. Hotel is a separate building. You will not live in the castle. Nice territory to go for a walk.

No view from the window. You must book dinner in the restaurant in advance. The restaurant does not serve launches, only snacks.

Yust for one night and book the restaurant for a good evening diner.

The restaurant is a nice place to diner en enjoy the cocktails special the Negroni.

Rooms are very simple.

Disappointing

The outside view and the neighborhood are great. The staff are very friendly.

The shower room smells horrible. Almost no ventilation. It's also very inconvenient that there is no bedside wall plug (there was actually one on the wall, but was blocked permanently by the bedboard). The traffic is not convenient either. I've stayed at a hotel near the train station at about half of the price here but had a much more decent stay.

nice little hotel, clean, no frills, good location if needing to stay in Oegstgeest.

Liked the location and the amiability of the Reception Desk staff.

Room was noisy (hallway needs better insulation of noise) and the WIFI was NOT good.

Magical and comfortable stay in a castle.

The place was amazing, located in what used to be horse stable that has been transformed into modern hotel rooms. The castle and its surrounding estate is quite magical and autumn is great time for walks around the hotel, the sights were breathtaking.

Leiden is great. Go here!

The room was beautiful with a king-sized bed. The breakfast was superb and the location was excellent. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

I found it hard to relax here. Simple things seemed to be quite confusing to navigate (this might say more about me than the hotel).
