We had a great time at Lamai Coconut resort, they made an effort for my birthday and were always really keen to help us

The staff were really helpful, the location was great and the room was a good size

Nice Hotel and location - DO NOT GO IN THE POOL WITH BLONDE HAIR

Good location as on the beach and close to all the bars and restaurants....

breakfast was not as good as all the other hotels/restaurants near by... we had 1st day then went to others with better options for the rest of the holidays... The biggest issue was the swimming pool turns all blonde hair GREEN.... my wife thought it was only her and had to spend 50 getting colour fixed.... after that we saw lots of other blondes with GREEN hair... whatever going in the water is causing it

Value for moneyMehIts ok. Nothing blew me away about the hotel.

Right on the beach and footsteps away from restaurants, shopping, massages, etc. Small but good pool. Restaurant provides a good meal day or night.

Front end reception staff need training on creating and treating guests. Very cold and I felt like I was trouble for them when they showed me to my room. Ive travelled for work to hundreds of hotels in my day and this was not professional.

excellent beach front hotel for good price

location was great right next too the walking street, lamai beach was a stones throw away, we stayed in garden view bungalow, hotel has sunbeds and bean bags on beach which is great, food and drink also good prices reasonable for being on the beach. Breakfast was okay had a few selections could be better. staff are all friendly especially the transfer driver/ bag man

Don't be fooled

The food was good and some staff members were really helpful when it came to booking our ferry and taxi. The location of the beach was perfect as the resort was next to it.

The resort is completely outdated, the shower door was leaking. We were meant to get a garden view but it was the view of the swimming pool and other huts. The restaurant closed really early in the evening, the bed was not a double bed it was two single beds put together and they were the worst beds. I wouldn't recommend coming here as I felt we were in a retirement home, also the location was really boring I would next time go up north for more of a vibe.

Superb

Location is perfect, right in the center of town and directly on the beach. Beach towels and lounge chairs included. This type of resort would easily be 3-4 times more expensive in Europe. Staff very friendly and room was very large and clean.

The resort could use a bit of an update. Furnature and so on feel a bit dated. But for this price you really can't complain too much.
