Overall, the LA Crystal Hotel had pleasant surprises and exceeded expectations for some guests. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurant offered outst (Read More)anding lunch specials. However, some guests noted that the rooms were outdated and had a cigarette smell. The breakfast was not satisfactory for some guests. Despite these minor flaws, the hotel's location was great and the staff provided excellent customer service. Guests would consider staying here again in the future.

Good

Wished they had shuttle service from LAX to hotel, then to cruise port-but wasn't a deal breaker.

Room was fine and spacious. Breakfast was adequate. The restaurant within hotel had very good Japanese food.

Superb

Very nice hotel , close to highway and also there are many shopping centers nearby . Very clean and safe . Good location you r in the middle , can go to LA , disneyland and Long Beach within 20 minutes by car

The cleanliness and comfort of my room. The room size was also good!

The worst breakfast I have ever had for multiple days! The lobby area is not comfortable at all. WiFi is weak in the rooms.

Exceptional

A very good place for a very good price!

This hotel has a good potential! All is excellent, nice rooms, nice people, clean, safe and free gated parking and good breakfast included in the price!Walking distance to a shopping center and public transport. Its our second time at this hotel and we will probably get back again.

Maybe the windows, they are not soundproof, but I have no sleeping problems, so not a real problem for me.

The fact that I found used syringes in my room and when I contacted the front deck they kinda blew me off.

Ok hotel, but a bit far from everything without a car

The hotel was ok. It's a bit old-ish and might have been upscale in the 80s or 90s. Since it kept the old style now it gives the vibe of just an old place. Nevertheless, it was fairly clean, quiet, and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfy as well. Room size was quite decent for 3 people. Depending on the means of transportation, the location is great to good. If you have a car, it's very easy to get on a highway. If you're using public transit, the subway station is right nearby but keep in mind that the entrance right across the hotel (3 minute walk) is closed, so you will need to go around the tracks to get to the open entrance to the subway station. It's not too far though and there is a pedestrian walkway all the way. The subway station itself is a little far away from major attractions, so it will take you quite a while to get to them (minimum 1 hour one way). Keep in mind if you want to visit such places as Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, or Petersen Automotive Museum. This hotel is far from these places without a car.

Maybe only the location, but it's not exactly the hotel problem, but planning on our end. The area around the hotel feels quite deserted which creates an eerie feeling as if you're in the middle of nowhere. A little enerving walking around in the evening, as it is getting dark so early in LA.

Very poor

We were not happy at all and had to stay for a few nights

Only the staff who worked there were respectful and the cleaners did a great job

The breakfast was very bad, cold and tasteless and without facilities, We can't sleep at night because of the bad smell of cigarettes and marijuana, There was a lot of noise and very low security
