Kyoto Granbell Hotel was a clean hotel in great location with friendly and helpful staff.
Location was very convenient, and nice lobby area that was comfortable to hang out and rest in, nice little bar with friendly bartender. Loved that all the lights in my room could be controlled from the bed!
Breakfast was just OK, but could be due to my personal preferences. Wifi wasn't always strong enough.

Great modern hotel in the heart of Gion - excellent breakfast, basement onsen and overall value for money
Great location, modern decor and comfortable (if very small) rooms. Breakfast was great (and varied) and the onsen in the basement is an excellent addition and well worth a few visits!
Very small rooms (hard to find space to check through bags) and sometimes staff could be less helpful (although there was variety - some were excellent)

Good place to stay in Kyoto
Good location and good facilities, close to the tram stop if you take tram from Osaka. Onsen is provided on Floor B1.
Check-in time is not flexible.

The bed was like a cloud! The room was modern and confortable. Loved the breakfast and the Onsen downstairs was magnificent. Amazing staff, very kind and helpful.

I stayed in Granbell Tyoko first then I when to Osaka, stayed in Granbell Osaka. the Kyoto one is much much better. High
Good location and neighborhood. Quiet, clean, and good staff. The staff gave you clear instructions when you checked in, very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast. If you are a vegetarian, dont try the breakfast.

Very good location - only walking distance to all tourist spots. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfy.
The room is a bit small. Not much room to move with 3 medium sized luggage.
