A little bit of paradise

We booked an Ocean view villa and wow, it was amazing. We could sit and watch the sunset from our balcony. The villa was equipped with everything you need including Mosquito spray and a Bluetooth speaker. Bottles of water were brought every day. The 4 poster sun beds next to the beach were for residents only, and they had paddleboards for free. The beach and the sea were lovely as was the swimming pool.. Breakfast was really good with many choices available, and the staff were always smiling. We hired a moped easily from reception and had our laundry done. Everything was authentic. We loved it. My partner described it as 1 step away from paradise!

There are a lot of steps up to the villas, so it may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as it was hard work for us some days.

Pleasant but not 5 stars.

Being secluded. Lovely beach area staff are amazing.

Its was tired looking. All the towels are frayed and the reception area looks old now. The rooms with the thatched roofs let in a lot of bugs. That I found lots of every night on my bed.

Beautiful setting but top of noisy beach!

Fantastic resort in great position on the beach! Attentive staff and very beautiful setting. Good breakfast and stunning pool. We booked honeymoon suite with pool which was really worth the extra spend.

Slightly run down resort. Needs a bit of a revampbeach loungers and towels shredded pretty much end of life. Restaurant could up its wine list. Very limited options (price not an issue) . Beach is a huge party zone and music THUMPS till way after 2 am. You aint gonna sleep if you are in a sea facing villa or honeymoon room.

Simply to make you feel good

Koh Tao Cabana is located at the northern end of Sairee Beach. The beach section is very beautiful and borders directly on a mountainous, ascending rocky section. Everything is beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings with lots of greenery. Canoes and stand-up paddles are available to hire free of charge. Also the snorkeling equipment. Contrary to some of the reviews we read on the internet, everything was included in our breakfast. Even the "extra requests" from the menu. The staff are very courteous, helpful and friendly. The pool is also very nicely designed, with a waterfall and beautiful view. As I said, the resort is located at the end of the beach in a quiet area. However, you can quickly get to the beach hot spots by walking if you are looking for action.

Amazing stay, will come back again in the future!

We stayed in an ocean view villa and it had the best view! The hammock and sunbeds in the terrace make you wanna stay in the room forever! The decoration and overall facilities are slightly old. That being said, the look and feel is not washed out but rather authentic. The staff is -as per usual Thailand experience- very welcoming and naive and eager to help you.

The squeaky floors! Once soneone walks in, you are doomed to wake up.

The most relaxing tropical paradise stay you could ask for.

We stayed in the sunset villa and just wow! The most perfect paradise spot! The sunsets were incredible from here, and the balcony felt so private. The rooms were amazing, like your own little private hut/villa. Words cannot describe it. The hotel as a whole is just a tropical paradise. The staff couldnt do enough for you and, they were the kindest most hard working people ever. Even the walk ways to the villas are surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, everything is so special. The picture I have posted of the sunset has absolutely zero filter we loved it that much we booked and extra night there.

Nice hotel, tainted by staff's strange behaviour

Room was fantastic, felt very private and had its own terrace and seating area. Bathroom was very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel was also situated on the beach which felt exclusive.

The hotel was a little run down, particularly the facade of the lobby area and some of the beach furniture. The staff behaved a little strangely too. Despite having a taxi waiting to pick us up, staff at reception effectively wouldn't allow us to leave until our room had been checked for (presumably) damage etc. This was 1) an annoyance, as we were held up from leaving and 2) it implied they weren't fully trusting of their guests. I appreciate the obvious need for guests to address any damage etc. they may have caused, but I have never experienced a scenario (both on this holiday, and generally) whereby I've been unable to leave because of checks around this. Odd behaviour that left a sour taste in the mouth.

a unique hotel, completely wooden, you begin to understand all the charm when you see other hotels, sun loungers on the beach, few people, which is a huge advantage, well-groomed hotel area.

There are few options for vegetarians at breakfast.
