Old style hotel, beautiful inner garden, a sanctuary, central to most temples if that's what u want

Central location within the most active part of the old city. Hotel is not your common block hotel but made to look a little older (it's actually ion ly 12 years old). Beautiful inner courtyard garden with nice pool (too cold to swim at this time of the year but thats anywhere in Chiang Mai in Dec). Rooms are huge and can easily accommodate 3-4 pax if family likes to stay together. Staff is friendly but English not their strength

Monotonous breakfast offering, and I'm not talking tasteless white toast daily but the same fruit for 6 days in a city stuffed with delicious varieties is just incompetent. As said, staff tries hard but the limited offering (better for Asians than Westerners) is not their fault. Room windows could have mosquito netting to allow fresh air from outside, without nets lots of zzzz visitors, can't avoid given the humid garden grounds, ponds etc. Operational procedures a little too rigid, cleaners sit outside the room and stare at you to finally get out as they can't leave before they've done all rooms in their segment of the hotel. Toilet had on some days a really bad foul smell, on some not. The boom-boom of nearbey night clubs is transmitted miraculously into the mattress and noticeable until 2-3 a.m. so beware.

Good rest area in the old city, near everything close by walking distance

Clean and spacious with extra public areas decorated for comfort very thoughtfully. The excellent cleaning staff Prompt attention to rooms every morning for cleaning and makeup before 19 am Great front desk with local help provided Great swimming area with a/c gym machine area nearby Breakfast service well done with eating areas inside and out on pool patio. Private street parking with additional courtyard overflow access Good 24 hr security

Did not find them lacking in service or ability , nothing to complain about

Disappointing

Walking distance to Sunday night market. Lot's of food options and good massage around hotel vicinity.

Can hear loud music in the room from the nearby pubs till 4am in the morning.

Very good

This is a small traditional friendly hotel in a good location just inside the old city.

The welcome at the hotel was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged a couple of tours for us and this saved us the trouble of doing this ourselves. We used Tuk tuks a lot to get around and the receptionist often hailed them for us. The area was very convenient, inside the old city and within walking distance to local shops and good Thai restaurants. The hotel arranged transport to the airport and this arrived promptly at the arranged time. It certainly merited its 4 star rating.

Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

The hotel was very charming, with good amenities. Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful . We had an issue with our toilet and within 5 minutes someone was up fixing it. The best thing about the hotel is the location, its within walking distance of many of the beautiful temples and there are good restaurants in the surrounding area, plus a 7-11, always a bonus.

This is a personal preference but I found the bed and pillows a bit hard.

Superb

Will return in February because I really enjoyed my time here!

The property is very nice and well maintained. Good location. Very clean and beds are super comfortable! The most amazing part of my stay is the kindness and hospitality of the staff and the manager! Nice swimming pool too.

There could have been more sweet things for breakfast, like croissants etc. I only saw these on my last day. Also, brown bread would be a plus, as only white bread was available.
