Comfortable and good location but not great value or view

Seaview rooms do not have a good sea view at all - we were moved to the top floor on request but still not a great vista. Was clean and comfortable

Bathrooms have a large open vent directly on to the hallway so ablutions are audible to all!

Kaani beach doesnt have receiption. For everything need to contact kaani grand.

Amazing

We arrived and got upgraded to a room in Kaani Palm hotel right away. Staff was so friendly and helpful we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much! Room was clean and very big and comfortable.

Restaurant and it's staff

I had a very bad Check in. The Front desk didn't agree for the Offer provided by Booking.com and they wanted me to pay the difference. After a lot of discussion, it was agreed upon. I believe Booking.com should get into the details and ensure a dialogue with Property to ensure its credibility. Second please remove Kaani Beach from your listings..It has No Services to its Guests and no facility for communication through intercom. The Front desk proudly announces the same during Check in

Not recommended

Below par. Everything including breakfast and lobby was at another facility. No 24/7 staff. Pictures on page were fake. Rude staff with zero customer service. We had a lizard in the room and told them we could have to check out if it could not be found and killed to which they simply said sure, but we cannot refund the money.

Unforgettable memories

Our 1st visit to Maafushi was great. Celebrating our 15th years anniversary. The location is amazing. The vibes are very nice. The staff were great. We love the comfy bed. Thank you so much to Mr Tiger for the warm greetings. Funny man he is. We had breakfast and dinner buffet in Kaani Palm and the service there was superb! Thanks to Mr Shafeeq, Ms Diah, Ms Anika and all f&b staffs there. Every morning and evening we were greeted with warmth smiles and they looked as if they can't wait to serve us which makes us feel so close and comfortable. Thank you to Mr Ronnie for serving and taking care of our romantic candle light dinner. He took nice pictures of us too! Last but not least Mr Shamim who definitely makes our room tidy every single day with beautiful and different decorations. We love the Friday night live band as well. Thank you Kaani Hotels for the unforgettable holiday and memorable moments we had. Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you

The customer service was excellent. The air conditioning in our room at the Kaani Beach Hotel was not functioning properly, so they upgraded us for free to a room at the Kaani Palm Hotel down the street, which was a nicer hotel, amazing and beautiful. The breakfast was very good and the staff was always so friendly and kind.

Worth it

The people in general were friendly and the staffs at Kaani beach all three were very friendly and helpful.Staffs like Sakthivel,Mark, Eeman, Shamim and Tiger were a few names that make you feel at home. These are just a few names. All the excursions with the hotel were fantastic and its a must to do them, no regrets.Rooms n bathroom were clean and comfy.

The buffet choices can still be improved and some items were at times abit too salty.
