Overall a very comfortable hotel. Location is great for transitting travellers.

The overall ambience is pleasing moreover the staff's humble behavior makes it even more complementary, all thanks goes to the owner Mr. Taneja for keeping an eye on the management. wonderful days spent. The location is serenely comfortable and easy to access. Dinner was tempting especially the Cheese Tomato .

Relaxing & peaceful

This was a good location. Very quiet and surrounded by natural beauty just 15 km from the Shimla mall. The views from my room were amazing. I stayed there for a week and in between spent 3 days just enjoying the beauty out of the window & doing some writing work. Its a good stay for those who enjoy quiet natural beauty far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Even though we stayed for a week, the room was not cleaned unless we called for housekeeping service once in between. The common areas, such as the restaurant were also full of littered paper towels, etc. most of the time during the breakfast buffet. Of course, this was because of the ill-mannered guests coming from different regions of India along with their kids during the summer break. These guests should have behaved well and should have taught their kids also to keep the environment clean. No wonder the public places in India are so dirty. But, the hotel staff should have been also more prompt with cleaning the mess.

Disappointing

Stayed for the sake of staying coz we were not able to find any other booking

1. Location was good but a bit far from Shimla 2. Good and humble staff, nice but slow room service 3. Ample Parking space

1. Buffet breakfast was very bad. The breakfast timings were 8-10:30 but most of the items were finished before 10, whatever we asked was either finished or getting prepared which we never got in our plate including tea 2. Dirty glasses and bed sheets 3. Cobwebs in the room (makdi ke jaale) 4. Property can be good if they maintain the cleanliness and buffet breakfast

Had a good time at the property, ate great food and enjoyed the amazing view from my room.

The location of the property was amazing as Shimla is just 30 minutes away, so if someone is planning for Shimla they can easily travel to and fro from this location. Saving a good amount of time which is wasted looking for a parking spot near hotels. The view from the room was awesome. Food menu has a wide variety of dishes and most of the dishes We ordered were great, except the breakfast. Staff is friendly and service is quick.

There were really small and tiny issues which they can improve, things like mineral water, tissues/napkins, wiper for the washroom were not in the room beforehand, we asked them for the same. The room I had was amazing but one of the lights was not working, the wash basins tap was somewhat broken. And the WiFi connectivity was very weak in the room. So these small issues if taken care will definitely add more finesse to the property.
