Cosmopolitan flair in a quiet neighbourhood

The hotel is very decorative with colonial theme inside as well as outside. The staff is exceptionally professional and elegant. There is a very good odeur everywhere and house hold is fantastic. I recommend to book some time at the pool and sauna. In the evening we enjoyed the cosmopolitan atmosphere due to the famous Rum bar is on the same time an intimate one. The metro station censier-Daubenton is about 5 minutes walk and two main streets of interest are nearby; the little pedestrian street Rue Mouffetard that offers many cheese and pastries as well as eating and drinking shops, and the bigger street Rue Monge where there is an excellent market (Wednesday Friday and Sunday).

Wonderful stay

Really stylish and comfy hotel, conveniently located about 5 mins walk to a metro. The gin bar is really cool and we gad some lively pre dinner coctails there in the evening

Nothing really to fault the hotel, thought the rooms and facilities were lovely. Used the pool and sauna so was a lovely feauture to have in a Paris city centre hotel!

Having been a guest at this hotel for a few years now Ive noticed that it needs some refurbishing and also noticed that the espresso cups provided with the nespresso machine were too small for even the smallest coffee

Charming, elegent and peaceful.

I loved the private access to the indoor pool and booking a time to use it, and loved the added touch of the rum bottle in room as well as the tile work in the bathroom. The balcony was tiny, but still we enjoyed having it and a view. We also loved the bar downstairs with an incredible rum drink from Africa that had smoke coming off the top. AMAZING!:) The breakfast was also EXCELLENT! and worth the additional charge. Also, that location was near a charming village and was in walking distance as was Plantes de Garden. Overall we would stay there again for sure!:)

The balcony and room size we're smallish, but still very nice, we we're surprised the bathroom was roomy in comparison. That's it....nothing else we would have improved upon.

The most beautiful space with lovely staff!

Such a beautiful space! We had the cutest little balconies off both the bedroom and bathroom to view the Parisian rooftops, it was perfect. Interior design of the room, bar and lobby were beautiful. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, even to use non-French speakers.

You could smell the chlorine from the pool, as soon as you opened the door to your room and we were on the 6th floor.. it was a lot. The towels and bathrobes have seen better days. Pretty wild when they're also trying to sell the robes, but they're old and scratchy..

Great Hotel in Fantastic Location

Hotel Montecristo was in a fantastic location for us. A short walk to fantastic cafes, restaurants and into the heart of Paris. The street the hotel is located on is quite, allowing for fantastic nights sleep. Hotel rooms in Paris are notoriously small, however Hotel Montecristo's room was a fantastic size, with a side desk, a sitting chair, and a generously sized shower! The bed was extremely comfortable and the space was very clean. We also loved the design aesthetic of the entire hotel.
