Cozy, comfortable, budget friendly

Its cozy and small, connected to the main road with a quiet balcony. The host family can take care of you.

You need a boat from Ghat 1 to reach and at night you need to go on the backside to enter the house boat.

The houseboat was at a peaceful place away from the noisy city in the backside(ghat1). The water was not dirty and regularly being cleaned by the govt boats. The staff and facilities were acceptable. Car parking on the backside available as well.

View was ultimate . However, staff was not cooperative and boat is very expensive and there is no facilities as per charges .

Memorable stay.Will come back here again.

The host Mr.Wasim and his family is extremely warm and treat you like family. The view to the mountains from this houseboat is priceless. I love the shikhara ride from the houseboat alot.

The water heating was less.

Excellent hospitality, very homely atmosphere, great food and scenic views.

Location is bang on Dal Lake. Quiet, hospitable family, always ready to cater to your every need. Comfortable beds and size of room. Wasims mother will cook whatever you feel like eating. The central location makes it ideal to visit sites in Srinagar, and there is road access from the back of the houseboat. Wasims father is the ultimate host who is always concerned about your needs and welfare. Genuinely nice people. Ali is always ready to take you sightseeing and they have a vehicle for the same.

There were occasional instances where the hot water was not always available in the bathrooms.
