The location as it is just a short walk from the city center, plenty of parking spots.

Everything else. We checked in and the bathroom of the first room had some sh*t in the toilet. I have asked the desk to change the room, which they agreed to. Then the bathroom of the second room and the room in general was even worse. Make up all over the tiles, hairs in the towels and red stains on the sheets. They sent a cleaning lady upstairs, she mopped the floor and changed the sheets (completely leaved there all the other make up stains, at this point I was like "never mind, I will clean it myself or we will never sort it out"). Before sending the cleaning lady the girl at the desk me told me something along the lines "if the stains are not at the top were the head is I don't see the problem. I woul sleep there". Good for her. I have basic hygiene though. We have just spent a night there, touching the least possible, at checking out the guy at the desk implied I was lying (what for? I had been driving ten hours. I just wanted to sleep in a clean bed) as no one of his staff saw anything. Well, why then didn't he check? Shouldn't it be a manager duty? Both the first and the second time. He said he can't possibly check all the rooms, but I guess that if they never receive complaints he could have checked it, as this is not routine? He said the cleaning lady reported the room were clean when she came to clean them (as she missed totally the stains I have no doubt she saw them clean), anyway, it is quite obvious she wouldn't admit to a poor job. Anyway, I was pretty much called a liar upon leaving and that I could have done those things myself. Like WHO WOULD DO THAT AND WHAT FOR? I WAS F DRAINED! Oh, also, bottles of water from the minibar were drank and left in there... Probably they are just regularly dirt so it was fine by them. I have no other explanation. Luckily booking customer care sorted it out, ingot a partial refund and the room cleaned.

Great Location - Friendly staff

The property is close enough to alstadt without being right in the centre of town. It was quiet and beautiful with a lovely view of the fortress! Pretty residential and the staff were also very helpful! Clean rooms - gives an old world feel to the stay.

The heaters in the bathroom worked better than the heater in the bedroom - my only feedback really. Otherwise everything was great!

Superb

Quality of hotel and location is in easy reach of altstadt and airport. Free parking for car overnight. Staff were excellent.

Exceptional

Great stay- will be returning again!

The Hotel was lovely, the room was big and spacious and cleanliness was to a high standard. The small kitchen area and fridge within the room was a great facility to have! The staff were very pleasant, especially one particular receptionist Arash who was was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. He made a strong effort to welcome us each time we entered the hotel and always had a pleasant smile on his face. Great to see staff who put in the extra effort.

The air conditioning didnt seem to be working very well. Walk in open shower wasnt the best- water often flooded out into the bathroom.
