Welcoming staff at reception.Great location ideal to walk to a lot of main attractions and close to public transport also.

Expensive for 3 nights stay.

It was a great stay!

Breakfast was superb! Sparkling wine made all of us very happy! Location is wonderful, just walking distance from the Vienna center. There is a church on Taborstrae 16 where Joseph Haydn was employed as a church musician (first violin) in the 1750s. Our rooms were spacious, warm and very comfortable. Christmas dinner at the hotel restaurant exceeded all our expectations.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. Unfortunately the hotel receptionist with long 'Franz Joseph' style mustache was sick this time so we could not make a picture with him as we planned :( :( Hopefully he is OK now and impresses all the tourists as usual :)

Good

The hotel itself was beautiful, the location is not the best but its good and easy access.

I could hear the sound of water in radiators till morning and also the sound of fan in toilet was laoud and I couldnt control to turn it on or off I guess it was automatic. The room was quite small but ok for one person. I stayed in better rooms before as a solo traveller but it was ok.

Beautiful luxary hotel at the heart of the City. So elegant, very nice SPA, beautiful spacey rooms, comfortable beds, very rich breakfast. Overall, just perfect. We can highly recommend.

Lovely historic hotel in good location with spacious rooms.

The hotel is in a good location - easy to get to with the airport bus (or the airport train, but then you have to use the Ubahn). Ubahn station with two of the main lines is about 6 minute walk away. The single bed room was spacious, with plenty of space to put things. Bathroom had a window as well. Location of the room was quiet, but a pretty long walk to the lobby. The included breakfast had many options. The hotel and room interiors are lovely and interesting. Staff were friendly and helpful.

For some reason, the room was often too warm, especially overnight, even though I turned off the heat. After the first shower I took, I was unable to get consistently warm/hot water to come out.

Lovely experience.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Very helpful and polite. Beautifully furnished hotel, old fashioned charm. The place felt home away from home. I highly recommend this place.

I hope I get a chance to go back

Its a classy hotel, like hotels used to be. They offered to make me a breakfast to go bag for my early flight. There were many young guests who appreciated the style and graciousness of this beautiful old hotel. A very nice buffet breakfast was included, including champagne!!
