Wonderful central Hotel

The hotel was amazing ,you only had to walk a few metres to the main shopping area ,and Lorenzo was incredibly .

It would be nice to have o kettle and Tea and Coffee in the room

Expected much but was slightly let down.

The room was large and the bathtub was very large and nice. Air conditioning also worked very well. The staff was also very quick, polite, and accommodating.

I took my girlfriend here on a one night date to Naples and expected a nice quality hotel, not anything super special, but nice. Sadly I was let down by the room. The room was decorated very strange and seemed cheap and almost like they started something one way and didn't follow through and finish the idea. The tile work was bad and did not line up, very poor workmanship that distracted from the whole atmosphere, also very slick bathroom floors. The walls were dirty and needed repainting long ago. There were water stains and dirty spots everywhere and around all the vents. The bathtub water pressure for the hot water was low and took nearly an hour to fill the tub. The sink slashed everywhere and was of a poor imagined set up... Etc. It was just all slightly off. It was not remotely as nice as I was expecting that the pictures led me to believe. That said the exterior spaces were fine. For a four star establishment it seemed more like a cheap three star operation room decorating wise, although all four star services were available. I would say at least for the suite, a renovation or update would do wonders. This is not to say don't stay here, especially if it's your budget, but I wanted to post this as information for someone like myself to come across in the future to know what to expect.

Excellent hotel, close to the station, with lots of restaurants close by

Very helpful staff. Nice large room with plenty of storage space. There is a really nice roof garden bar, where you can hang out to enjoy the evening, with a beautiful view of the church dome.

Room facilities were good (a/c, minibar, etc) but there was no kettle to be able to make that first cup of coffee in the morning! There was a nice, fairly large, balcony but it did not have any chairs so you could not sit out on it. However the rooftop garden was an excellent place to hang out instead.

Convenient to the station, for a short stay.

The reception areas at the hotel are lovely, the lift works well, and the breakfast was excellent (a decent amount of choice, nice big light dining room). the staff I met were friendly and polite. The hotel is in an excellent location for the train station which is why I chose it, but beware: google maps sent me on a ridiculous round-about route during the hottest part of a really hot and humid day, and I dragged my case through crowded cobbled lanes including through a loud, chaotic market which is held just outside the hotel. Once I was at the hotel, I worked out that the direct route was about 1/3 the distance - you can see the station from the corner. So don't listen to Google Maps!

I had a single room and the bed was, in the way of Italian beds, too firm for my liking. The pillow was - also in Italian style - very flat. Italians must all sleep on their backs I think. There was a duvet on top but no single sheet, and it was way too hot to sleep under a quilt, so I had to sleep on top of the bedding (I guess it added an extra layer of padding). The air con was effective but it wasn't clear how to turn it down (or off). There was nowhere to put my case - no luggage stand etc - which was inconvenient. the location, close to the station, is not all that salubrious. There is a market held in the street just outside the hotel, full of young men selling shoes and things, and I did not feel very safe there.
