All the staff were really nice. Especially the lady who checked us in and the lady in the bar area. Loved the view from the 9th floor. The hotel is close to the metro station. The bathroom was spacious.

Lack of information about the facilities available. I believe at the time of the visit we could only use the bar area downstairs. The room decor was rather tired. Water bottles werent replenished on the second night, neither was the toilet roll, the remote batteries were flat. No kettle in the room. Made a mistake of ordering tea from room service which cost a staggering 7 Euro for a small cup.

The hotel rooms were spacious but the decor needed updating.

-No cots available. -Laundry prices were a rip off. -Pillows were uncomfortable, -room service was 32 euro for 2 pieces of toast, cup of coffee and some yoghurt.

PRETTY GOOD

The hotel is well located, it is very clean, it offers several cafes and restaurants, the staff is excellent, welcoming and smiling and above all always available. the hotel has quite original themed rooms. the metro is at 2-minute walk away and it's quick to get to the center. there is also a bus stop in front of the hotel. it is also not far from the airport.

the only problem is with the rooms even if we were only there to sleep and the rest of the day we were out visiting the city. we heard too much of the slamming of doors, neighbors in rooms and noises from the corridors. there is almost no storage space for our belongings. We thought at first that we hadn't found the cupboard and at reception they confirmed to us that there was only one cupboard door which was not suitable for families. They only offer water in the room, no coffee or tea bags knowing that we are in a 5 star hotel. in our room, there was a gap between the headrest and the bed and it was not very practical or even very disturbing. some small technical problems such as a malfunction in the lighting and also a heating out of order. despite all these negative points, I would book it again without problem but perhaps another type of room.

An okay place to stay in Madrid

The hotel is a nice concept art boutique hotel in my opinion. There are total of 13 floors with 11 floors having a different theme on each matching the design style of various industrial designers and architects. The bed is comfortable. The baby bed provided is very helpful.

I don't know if the water in Spain is drinkable. Some cities say no and some say yes. As a 5 star hotel, the least you can expect is - a small bottle of water every day when you are coming back to the room after a tiring day - a way to make some coffee. There was no amenities for coffee or tea and no hot water machine to make coffee which felt like a joke for a "5 star hotel". The toilet is too high and uncomfortable to sit on. Everything in the room makes to much noise and creates too much light. My son gets disturbed too easily with some noise. This was not easy. Opening a cupboard - noise and light Opening a bathroom door - noise and light Switching on bathroom lights - noise Main door - noise Buffet was ok and a decent spread but food space was too crowded to walk around with 20 people trying to get food. Staff at the buffet felt very serious and no smiles. The rooftop observatory was open for us to visit but the staff behaved like we were not welcome with some strange facial gestures. We didn't care as we wanted to spend a few minutes and leave back to our room. Hotel is far from major hot spots but that's ok for us and a welcome relief when the crowds go gaga during the winter holidays.

Superb

We had a great stay at the hotel.nice breakfast and very nice staff.

The place is so nice and comfortable. The staff are very nice. The breakfast was great. All the floors have different style and colors. We had a great experience in there hotel.

The cleaning person didnt check the things that they throwing if theres something important inside before they they take and throw it.
