The stained glass and overall feel of the old palazzo was beautiful. Also, the terrazzo for coffee or refreshments all day was lovely

The building and facilities need some upgrades... TVs, wall plugs, frrscos, and bathrooms could use some TLC. It makes the place feel old and spooky

Charm, great location, and wonderful staff.

Lovely grand old hotel with wonderful staff--all very helpful and cheerful. Great location for exploring Florence. Beautiful and charming old building with some stunning glass and paintings. Could easily imagine it in the heights of the 1930's. Grateful it had an elevator though. And the luggage storage was also very helpful. Room was large and airy, and the beds very comfortable. And great shower! Felt very safe walking around in the area, even at night.

As I don't live in a city, there was a bit more noise than I am used to, but it didn't keep me awake. But I chalk that up to the normal sign of life.

Very good location. Very helpful, professional, and pleasant staff

The location is great, near the train and bus stations and 3 min. from Duomo. You can reach the hotel by foot or by taxi. The hotel inside is a little bit of a maze, but the staff, especially the receptionists ( Nikko and Massimiliano), were very helpful, professional, and pleasant. They will provide you with any kind of information, and they will send you to explore and enjoy the city with simile and comfort. The room was warm and had a spacious bathroom. The hotel provides water, tea, coffee, croissants, and sweets any time during the day, even if you don`t have breakfast.Nice terrace as well
