Hotel Orcagna is a perfect place to stay if you want to be in Florence but away from the busy city center. The quiet streets and local food make for a peaceful stay, yet the downtown area is just a q (Read More)uick 15-minute walk away. The rooms are clean, and the terrace offers a beautiful view of the city. The breakfast is excellent, with the option for cappuccino or espresso upon request. The staff is friendly and professional. However, it may be more convenient to stay closer to downtown if you rely on taxis or have a rental car, as parking is challenging. Despite this, guests had a lovely stay overall.

Polite staff, clean rooms and great breakfast

Breakfast made me happy. Because everything was available from eggs to dessert. It's not like big hotel breakfasts where you can't eat anything, but freshly made omelet, fresh coffee etc. It was quite enough and fresh. The staff in the hotel lobby are very attentive and helpful. They did everything I asked for during my stay, such as extra cleaning of the room or bed preferences. The rooms were really clean, the staff were very polite and cleaned well.

The layout of the rooms was not good. The toilet/shower sound of the next room came from the wall of the bedroom too much and sometimes my sleep was interrupted. So the sound permeability of the rooms is a bit troubled. But I can't say anything because they are old buildings.

Great hotel and close to everything, amazing food as always.

Amazing breakfast and the staff are easy to converse with and super helpful. The room was big enough for 4 of us and was in a great location, with good shopping and eateries.

a comfortable stay but a bit far from the centre

The room was very spacious and cosy. The fridge was filled with essential products you might need after a long trip. Also, it is very clean and comfortable and it is facilitated very well. The breakfast buffet was the highlight of our stay. It is delicious and acceptable.

The location is not very convenient if you travel with people who are uncomfortable walking 30 minutes to the centre. The public transport in Firenze is a bit chaotic. Therefore, you cannot rely on them besides the stops are more or less 10 minutes away from the hotel.

The staff was nice. Breakfast was good and the girl working there was very attentive and polite

We stayed in a 5 bed room and even if it looked nice you didnt have any privacy. The bathroom door and shower door were transparent so everyone in the room could see you while taking a shower ! That wasnt nice at all. They should put some real doors for the bathroom, or a door dividing the two bedrooms at least.

Great location, great breakfast, great staff

Mosquitoes in room constantly, no room ventilation and the ac didnt work so we had to open the windows which brown lots of mosquitoes Low water pressure

The staff were SO friendly and helpful, it really made the trip a lot easier. It was quiet, clean and the breakfast was amazing!

The mattresses in the room need a bit of an upgrade as they were a bit too tough on the back.

Very good

Lovely short break - just what we were looking for and we will be back!

The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were really great and we really liked the area.

Only thing is that its a bit far to walk into the centre and back!
