Facilities great, hotel not running as smoothly as expect

The facilities, the room was lovely, the view of the mountains was great

We were very surprised that there was a large school trip on our first night - they filled the restaurant and therefore all other guests had to wait for them to finish. We were also woken at 5am with the school children running and screaming through corridors. When expressed to staff - we were told its ok they leave today. There were some incorrect pieces of information such as, spa opening times where the room said 8am and the exception such 10am but when it still wasnt open at 10:15 it was suggested that we just wait outside the spa for the staff to arrive. Mealtimes could be disjointed, such as, fries arriving and 20 minutes later the pizza arriving. Some items arrived cold and had to be sent back. One waiter actually told us that he likes to speak to the guests so that he gets money from them. When we sent laundry it didnt arrive back so had to go and ask for it. On the whole beautiful hotel and room but just not quite running smoothly and when speaking to staff about the above - nobody seemed to really care. We received much better service from hotels in Nepal for much much cheaper.

Superb

Overall I enjoyed the environment of the Hotel and I would love to stay there again.

The view from the room was excellent. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. My wife and my 2.5 years old daughter enjoyed the facilities offered by the Hotel.

The stairs are narrow and food price seems very high.

Exceptional staying place.

They charge Taxi fare 4,500 Nepali Rupees way back to kathmandu. It's just 4 times higher than regular Taxi. So, everyone should make contact with a Taxi for return before rech Hotel Mystic Mountain.

Buffet Dinner price Nepali Rupies 2500.per person. Food quality good. But, I like to suggest Hotel Mystic Management to reduce at least 500 per person.

Our stay was excellent, surprisingly more than what we had expected.

Location of the property is excellent where every room provides a panoramic view of the mountains. Our room was optimally heated through the heating function of the AC. There was continuous running hot water in the bathroom. The food was excellent and tasteful. The staff were warm, responsive and eager to make the stay comfortable.

Need more English speaking staff.

Decent but overrated

The location is awesome and the views were fantastic , very worthy to wake up for the sunrise . Another thing very important for us was the great attention and attitude of the whole staff , definitely they make the stay very comfortable , awesome job from their part .

We had the fortune to be upgraded to the next category , which we really appreciate , but unfortunately for us theres a construction of the hotel in front of it , and the next day 7:30am they started it , it wasnt very nice to hear that so early . Also one very important thing we had , it was that the heating system wasnt working properly , we called reception and they sent maintenance , they fixed it but the whole night definitely wasnt comfortable , a little bit cold . Although is not hotel fault , is worthy to mention that the road to the property is full of curves and theres some part that is difficult to access since theres no paved road , so if you have motion sickness be aware of it

Very well located with view ti Himalaya from all rooms. Modern, clean, very young and friendly team. Good meals. Pool, Jakuzzi, Fitness, hing from hotel.
