A well positioned hotel, but with kitchen inconveniences to be solved

A well positioned hotel just above Manzoni Subway station (no noise and / or movements were heard, nor felt). Very well looking renovated building on the outside. A good breakfast selection and variety.

Restaurant's cooking area was not ventilated properly, the door from the kitchen/serving area was permanently open into the dinning area therefore the food smell was proeminent in the breakfast zone, Reception (at arrival the welcoming smell was of a steakhouse) and also the entire building (up to the third floor). To compensate the inappropriate atmosphere, the outside door of the kitchen was largely open reducing the room temperature to the outside Celsius degrees, making the ambiance even worse. The room amenities were nice and natural but refilled only once during the stay and although the floor was consisting of cold tiles no slippers were offered. There were no hangers in the bathroom and therefore towels were dried in different inappropriate places ;-(

Great experience and excellent location!

The location is excellent, the subway Manzoni is just across the street and the Collosseum is less than 15 minutes walk. Rooms are clean, cozy, and the breakfast is OK! Also the coffee is very good!

The heating system is very very noisy, also the bathroom ventilator is pretty noisy. Is pretty difficil to sleep with the heating system turned on, so in the night the room becomes pretty cold. This could be inproved and it would be great!

nothing!!

Can't be a 4 star hotel never ever!!!! Looks like they did maintenance but only for entrance and maybe for 1 or 2 rooms. What a cheating!! Room furnitures are so old there is a carpet which smells terrible cause the shower water directly goes there. Bathroom is a 2 star hotel maybe worse. Windows can't close properly so that all the street noise is inside. it was like a time travel to 1980's.

The location is ideal, 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum, metro is almost at the hotel door.

breakfast 5 out of 10 in terms of price/quality ratio. The most tasteless and stale bread I have ever eaten in Italy was here for breakfast. I dont recommend to buy breakfast here, there are many places where the breakfast will be better for the same price.

Good location and friendly team

The room was not clean well. Bed sheets were not changed every day. There were no slippers in the room. If you want to buy hotel slippers, there is a fee of 10. Breakfast is not good and dirty.

Great place, not so great location

Good accommodation, great bathroom. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Silence in the room is complete - a very welcome feature.

The hotel isn't really near everything - it's a good walk from the train station and from every main city attractions. There's a subway station very near though.

Not worth it for the money i paid.

The location only

The floor was never cleaned when we arrived, also during our stay. It was hairs and dust everywhere from the previous stays. Wifi doesn't exist at all there. They say that it is 300 mb/s but it was barely 4 mbs. When i complained to the frontdesk, the girl said that they will fix it, but nothing changed. As a tourist i needed to use the wifi but ended up not being able to do so.
