Good location, but wont go back again

Good location

The staff started off with us rudely asking for our marriage certificate as I am Indian national and my husband band is British. They said I could be an escort and they need to double check it. It could have been done smoothly and politely if they were concerned. After showing the marriage certificate, still got stared upon every time we crossed reception area. Felt very awkward. We will never go back to this hotel again. Staff needs some politeness lessons!

Overbooked so put me in a different room. A rat dug its way through the ceiling into my room in the morning. No compensation

It was a very good location generally, however you had to get to the hotel down a dodgy street

The bedding was stained. I was in the larger room and even then there wasnt a cupboard. Everything was very tired.

Window not possible to close in the bathroom so mosquitoes coming. Very unpleasant smell. Dirty room and bed sheets. Noisy, thin walls and doors

A standard room in a good area (Fort)

It's more of a building with rooms and a concierge, rather than a real hotel. But this is what you mostly get in Mumbai for this price in the area of Fort and Colaba. The room was a standard hotel room with TV, no fridge. Air conditioning worked well and there was also a fan. Room view is pretty lame, another building in fron of you. Next to the hotel was a building site, not much noise except for one morning. The area is good, even though the actual location is a bit too hidden. But overall I must say I always felt safe.

Sink in the toilet was very small, UK style. Only hand soap provided. The hotel is in a side street which at the time I visited (Dec 2023) was a bit hidden due to the metro building sites which are all over the city. But if you walk 2 minutes you are actually in a very lively part of the city, Flora Fountains, close to very nice restaurants and shops.

Location was excellent. Very central

There is some roadworks going on at the moment so the pin drop for uber was not accurate. Additionally the room is small and not particularly clean.

Hetel is very small. Rooms furniture is not well maintained.. very small size of cupboard and no locking facility.

Enough for 1 night

The bedroom is reasonable and the bed is comfortable.

The place might be a bit hard to find by car/taxi. The street is very dirty and dark but the inside of the hotel contrasts with it. For me the worse was the dust and an intense smell of paint (?) because they were rennovating.

The staff are very warm, happy and good.

1. Need to replace linen and towels. They are very old and have lost the whiteness. 2. Need to provide bathroom.sandals 3. At least provide a kettle in the room and telephone...intercom.... in the room so one doesnt have to come down to the reception for something light. .
