Nice colonial style hotel in the heart of Cartagena

The building is very pretty and well preserved. Room and bed were comfortable. AC, TV and minibar were all working good. Breakfast was good also, very relaxing in the covered terrace of the top floor. All the staff that we met during our stay were kind and helpful.

Only thing is that breakfast starts at 7:30, so maybe a bit tight on time if you have daily excursions booked which normally start at 8. Also, being in the city centre, you could hear some music at night in the background.

The hotel is in the middle of everything. Very comfortable for strolls around Cartagenas Oldtown.

We had a great time and were very pleased with rhe helpful staff.

We really enjoyed the location with walking access to all of the historic area.

The building was old but charming. The room was a bit cramped due to having an additional single bed along with a queen. Bathroom was small but adequate.

Overall, good stay!

This is an old hotel with very historic feel. Loved that feature! Lovely old railings and balconies with flowering vines galore! It is centrally located in the old city so very much a part of the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was good. Staff was the best. Always ready to help.

Because of its central location it was very loud at night. There are two hookah bars next to it that go til at least 2am. One of them has a rooftop that opens up so the music cant be avoided! Requesting the right room is essential unless of course thats your vibe! The pool is smack dab in the middle of the lobby, which is small, so its really not a place to relax. Lastly, it has a nice little rooftop area which would be great to enjoy but there were no chairs! The hotel overall is very dated. Needs a facelift. But the price reflects that.
