Great time in Iceland

I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to all the things we wanted to do or see in the city. It was also very close to the tour bus stop.

we only had one issue with our shower smelling quite bad, could possibly have only been the room we stayed in though.

Poor facilities but great location and staff

Very friendly staff and great location

Room was very small, not the same as what was displayed in the pictures on booking.com. Room cold - would be helpful to have portable heaters for those guests who require it as we found our room to be cold and therefore didnt have a good sleep. Another mirror in the room as there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom so made getting ready between two people difficult.

Friendly and comfortable

Hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and super friendly. Always going that extra mile for their guests. Hotel is always very central and at walking distance for all the happening places in town. plenty of paid parking space around the hotel which was very convenient.

Very good

The staff was super nice and our room was ready when we arrived. They followed the requests I made and we had complimentary sweets in the room and a hand written card for our anniversary! Thanks very much! The room was new and nice and we had a fantastic view. Bedsheets and towels are very soft and clean.

For a 4 star hotel I was expecting a bigger size room but I guess that's the standard in Iceland. My mattress was a bit soft and I had problems to sleep but I am very particular with mattress so that's just my problem. When taking a shower there was a light funny smell coming out the pipes but again I believe that's the normality in Iceland because of the sea.
