Superb

An iconic hotel, with period decor rooms combined with contemporary features.

Location, quiet, atmosphere, fixtures, prompt room service, quiet and efficient A/C, great shower, clean.

Parking instructions and map were not clear, better instructions on way of getting to the car park. Staffing seemed a bit stretched, unable to have a quiet drink at house bar, so had to go to the Corner Bar instead. Hotel just showing signs of age.

Fabulous stay, Fabulous place .

A real boutique hotel right in the centre of Auckland. Its a gorgeous place. The room and facilities were fabulous. The bar and dining areas equally so. The staff looked after us in a really caring way. We ate dinner one evening and it was the best meal we ate in Auckland. Wholly recommended .

Lovely staff, lovely bed and bathroom - incredible food

The dinner was absolutely incredible!!! Not a single complaint. It actually exceeded expectations

The room was incredibly narrow which we werent really expecting however the main issue was the parking. For people who dont know Auckland I have no idea how they would find the parking building and make their way back. Maps takes you to the wrong place and the details of the car park werent sent until the day of the booking - so I feel its misleading. If you dont have a car this is great - if you do - its a bit of a nightmare because the parking building itself is unlike any Ive ever seen before and incredibly unthought out as well as being difficult to find and far from site

Great location with character

Character, location, service, cleanliness, comfortable bed & pillows, lovely hot shower with nice shampoo & conditioner; large bath sheets.

The multiple large chairs in the downstairs restaurant/lounge being scraped across the floors for 10 minutes from 7.15am on Sunday morning woke us up... Plus those short curtain wands were unable to be reached to draw the curtains.
