The Hotel Casamara offers breathtaking views of the lake from its pub on top of the city, creating a cozy atmosphere for a relaxing evening. The friendly staff provides good communication and service (Read More), and there is available parking. Although the rooms are slightly smaller than expected, they are exceptionally clean with no dust. Highly recommended for those looking for a place to stay near the Temple of the Tooth for a few days.

Great colonial style hotel in the very centre of Kandy

Location was excellent for what we wanted. Central Kandy . Love the old colonial style and the service. The pool was clean and functional. Sitting on the balcony gave you the feel of Kandy whilst removed from the hustle and bustle.

The room was gleaming - but the smell of polish was a little overpowering!.

Fair for the location. Ok for one night.

Very central. Staff very friendly and efficient as are the people in Sri Lanka.

It is a very tired hotel. We were upgraded with a room with a balcony. Meaning opening on the Main Street. A shoe shop nearby had to play blaring music until (late) closure.

Central Clean Nice pool

One of the staff was initially very helpful but then quickly turned to being very obvious about wanting a tip. Even calling our cell phone at 8.20am on the last day to remind us that he had done everything for us.

Very good

Hotel in a very good location.

This is a downtown hotel. Attractions are close by. There are many shops and shopping centers around the hotel. The staff is very nice. We took the rooms quickly. There is an elevator that is operated by the staff. The rooms are of normal size. We had a delicious dinner. There is a pleasant bar on the roof with a good view.

Location good, but you get what you pay for.

The location was central and roof top bar was good with a great view

The rooms were tired and air con was very poor. Pool area also a little tired and out dated. Front bedroom was very noisy and sleep was disturbed. Staff were polite but rushed you through your meals. The food was ok.
