There are a lots of red flags 1) very unorganised 2) staff are good but floor management is worst 3) parking and security is waste .my new vehicle bonnet was scratched at parking during our stay 4) there are seepage in rooms which shows no maintenance 5) mosquito are in plenty

While being a Resort, my experience was not like it due to disturbing construction noises.
I stayed at Mayfair Palm Beach Resort in Gopalpur, Odisha from PM 24 to AM 26 Dec 23 to spend the Christmas Eve. I enjoyed the propertys location which had a tasteful decor, and ambiance. The staff was very cordial and prompt in fulfilling requests. I would like to make a special mention of Mr. Gautam Biswas in the Restaurant who took a keen interest in my familys comfort. The Christmas Gala Dinner was a well-conceptualized event.
My experience was not as peaceful as I had hoped due to the ongoing construction work inside the premises of the property. I was looking forward to spending a serene time with my family but the disturbance caused by the construction work was a letdown. While the property boasts of it as a Resort, my experience was not like it due to the disturbed surroundings due to construction work going on at a peak holiday time when vacationers look forward to peace from the usual city hustle-bustle. I believe the management could have halted their civil works for the property upgrades for a week as city dwellers like me were looking forward to a peaceful and serene environment with their families. I was also disappointed with the management for poor service at the venue. However, the Food and the Entertainment managed to keep our spirits high. There was confusion in the Meal Plan as it was understood that Breakfast and Dinner would be provided based on the quoted price however, this was additional to the room charge. I suggest Booking.com ensures this information is better relayed to its customers in the final charge of payment. It was surprising the quote for Lunch was not mentioned in the Meal Plan and Meal Plan was marked as 'EP - European Plan' which I had no idea of, leading to a communication gap.

The opulence, richness in heritage, retained features from decades ago, genuine attempt to carry on the legacy of the place!
Almost good! Booked in the very last minute! Hence, the price was a lot higher! But the magnitude of the accommodation, the access to the beach, the lay out, couldnt ask for more

Good property with good location but poor hospitality
The location of the property and beach
There are many 1. No proper parking leading to scratches on my car 2. Staff not well trained, so dont expect a 5 star level services 3. I opted for Christmas Gala Dinner and I regret for that. They cant manage the crowd and seating arrangement. The bar tender was not at all attentive and the service manager dont have any idea how to manage 4. On checkout we called for help but no bell desk attendant showed up. 5. No response from attendants while my wife carrying luggage

Very spacious room - we had booked the family room. Gorgeous views. Beach access. Great staff. Good food
The property is a bit old but that has its own charm. One of the ACs was not working but the weather was pleasant overall
