Checkin time is 2 PM which is really a headache, if a visitor arrives early morning for checkin around 11 they need to wait for couple of hours more

Old but Good property: Ample room space, Dining Variety, and Unique Pool Experience

Undoubtedly, the highlight is the rooftop swimming pool. While it may not rival the size of pools at larger resorts, its elevated location adds a unique touch. The property offers ample parking space and decently sized rooms. The restaurant choices are particularly noteworthy, providing great options for both lunch and dinner.

While the location isn't particularly close to the beach, it's still reasonably accessible with a personal vehicle. The rooms are of a decent size, although there is room for improvement in maintaining the restrooms and fixtures. The hotel appears outdated by two decades, signaling a need for a comprehensive facelift. On the downside, the breakfast options leave much to be desired. The buffet may be labeled 'continental,' but a closer inquiry reveals that items such as bread toast and cornflakes are the extent of this categorization. Fortunately, being a Pondicherry local returning home for a break, I'm familiar with other eateries that better suit my breakfast preferences. The hotel management should seriously consider offering more varied breakfast choices beyond the current selection of idly, vada, and pongal.

Location

Old one, maintenance is poor, some construction is going on near by your rooms, so temporary partitions with cloths are visible. The shower panel is trained not to shower you but to shower the surrounding walls.

Good accommodation and breakfast but car parking can be improved.

Food and location was very good.

Getting Parking difficult if you reach by late to the hotel but staff helped in parking(need to handover the keys to them).

Don't expect a lie in

The food in the restaurant was very good, and the restaurant staff were excellent.

This hotel has rooms being refitted. The issue here is that you will be woken to the sound of hammers, drills, angle grinders, etc before 7:00am every day of the week. The staff said I could request a room change the following day, but it didn't matter what room you were in as the sounds bounced off every room in the hotel. The reception staff were just not polite. Check if there is still construction going on before decoding to book.

Repair works are going on in all floors and in some of the rooms. Making the hotel dusty, noisy. Hotel should have informed us before the room are booked. Rooms are not ready at 2 pm eventhough early chec-in was requested
