Great place

Very close to Metro station. Clean comfortable rooms. No frills kind of hotel but great for sightseeing if youre not spending too much time in your room. Check out the restaurant bar on the corner across from the metro. Delicious everything.

The location is good. There is a metro station close by.

When we entered the room, the first thing we realized was the room was cold. It was showing 21 C on the screen. However the room was definitely not 21 C. When I asked the person in the reception a temperature adjustment, I was informed that, in France, hotels are not permitted to set the heating beyond 21C. Additionally, I was advised to keep the bathroom door closed as the fan inside could affect the room's temperature. Despite following these instructions, the room remained consistently colder than the stated 21C. We woke up to chilly mornings during our stay. The room was supposed to be 13 m2. However, it was definitely smaller than 13m2 if they didn`t include the corridor in the calculation!

The room was on the smaller side, but that's typical for Paris. It was still very comfortable. The double bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and duvet. A wool blanket was in the cabinet, which could be de-haired every once in a while (did not pull it all the way up). There is heating (A/C) in the room, which only goes up to a pre-programmed 22C degrees. It turned out to be sufficient. There is a fan in the bathroom going all the time and in the morning the smell of hot toast in my room was pleasant, which most likely is due to ventilation. One does get used to it, but it did create a constant noise level in the otherwise quiet room overlooking the garden. I had asked for a quiet room and was given #602, which indeed made a difference. The sound-insulation is better than most hotels in Paris, where it's usually non-existent, and if the guests beside and above you conduct themselves normally and with consideration it works well. I was lucky. No ear-plugs this time :) The hotel feels safe and is in a very nice part of Oberkampf steps away from Place de la Republique and Bastille within walking distance of everything important (Le Marais, BHV, Canal Saint-Martin, Barbes, Sacre-Coeur, Opera Garnier). There is no view as such in this room, but I had asked the staff beforehand for a quiet room and had shared with them that a view is not so important for me. Rue de Malte is in a pleasant quiet side street of Boulevard Voltaire in a pleasant residential street.

The fan made the bathroom rather cool and the fact that it could not be turned off was not so great, but I understand their reason. Everything else was just great and I will stay here again. I thought there must be a fault beforehand, but there was nothing at fault here, so I enjoyed my stay in Paris due to this hotel. Thank you!

Very good location and fairly clean

Very tiny room we had, barely to walk around the bed. I have seen small hotel rooms in Paris, but I did not expected for a 3 star hotel such one.

Superb

Clean n Comfy stay

Room was really nice and clean when we got back ea evening. Desk customer service help were very attentive and helpful. They have a good size garden in the courtyard. Also have an elevator! Location is very close to metro stop and good restaurants. Felt very safe overall. Their breakfast was very good for the price as well, lots of options. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Distance to some attractions-sometimes 2 metro stops but other than that, very good hotel and value! I'd stay there again.
