The hotel is conveniently located n (Read More)ear La Ramblas, offering a view of the lively street from the dining room. The rooms are simple but cozy with balconies and ensuite facilities. Pleasant

Location. Everything is around: amenities, restaurants, metroline, markets, etc.

The room size is a bit small for a family of 4.

Passable

Smell of sewerage and questionable safety

Breakfast was simple, but nice. It is in a walking distance to the main attractions and metro station

There is an intense smell of sewerage in hostel, especially in our room. We have tried to talk to the older lady at the reception, but she seemed uninterested to tackle the issue, shrugging her shoulders. If you want to get the full assortment at breakfast, hurry up, otherwise you might not be able to catch fruits or eggs as there is no replacement for everything. Overall feeling is that the place is not safe enough and certainly does not meet hygienic standards.

Superb

Great location, good value for money

Location is fantastic. Breakfast was good. Staff at reception quite helpful. The biggest surprise was the Christmas present - won our hearts! It was a very sweet gesture.

As the room and bathroom size are small (which I did not expect) a bit of facility of odour neutralising spray for thebathroom would be helpful. A coffer making facility in the room would be fantastic.

Superb

Overall, our stay at Marenostrum was great.

The property is by La Rambla street and by the metro station

It was very hot in our room. We were in 3-bed room in mid november and had window wide open all night and it was still hot.

Top location if you're fine with small rooms

Top location, really good breakfast, nice employees

You have to be aware that the Rooms are very small. This did not bother us. But if you don't open the window the room Was smelling very mouldy.

Very good

Great location, helpful staff but wish we'd had a different room.

Breakfast included was very nice. On a side street adjacent to Las Ramblas, many shops and restaurants, plus La Boqueria close by.

Or room, a triple, was right behind the registration desk. Very noisy with people checking in and out, could hear phone ringing. Beds were fair. No elevator - 12 stairs up to lobby, difficult for an elderly person.
