Hospitality of the staff was superb. Helpful in every way. Good breakfasts. Hotel was a bit further away from the touristy part of Negombo, but still accessible by Tuktuk for 1 USD with PickMe app. Great to discover the real Negombo and not the flashy tourist bit

Excellent value for money.

Very reasonably priced with nice and clean rooms. Staff is exceptionally helpful and nice.

The rooms look towards the St Mary's church and they seem to broadcast the morning service on their loudspeakers. There is a risk one may wake up very early on a Sunday morning.

I always prefer the topfloor in small hotels, and was rewarded with a great little balcony. It faced the canal, the church and an aray of birds and flying foxes.

Had a lovely stay at Hive 68! Our luggage got lost during our flight so Mr. Malaka arranged that we could pick it up at the airport the next morning. He called the airline multiple times and made sure that we had our luggage in time before we traveled to our next destination. Fantastic service! Many thanks to him and the rest of the staff for the wonderful stay. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was OK and the shower was good. A quiet space in the city! Breakfast was nice with a fruit platter and eggs, great service here as well. I would definitely recommend this place when you want to visit Negombo city and want to stay near the airport (20 min).

The staff was friendly. The put efforts in their works

It was a lot further away from the airport than I thought. The facade was dark and little, I arrived at midnight and did not recognized it at all. We had to ask for the driver to call the hotel otherwise we would not know how to checkin.
