Superb

The experience at the Hilton Resort was great! The staff is very friendly and they really care about your needs. The restaurants were very good and we enjoyed our stay very much. When we come back to Mauritius, we are definitely looking forward to returning to this resort.

Superb

The bed was very comfortable and wide. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and rich, like in 5* hotel.

Check in took a long time. The sea at hotel was brown coloured - probably because of the near river.

Everything except the ocean water was great.

Great staff, very well organized around meals and service in general. Breakfast was also great,

The ocean water was dirty. Apparently that happens when it rains. Asked staff for alternative locations nearby that had clear water and was told there are none when it rains. It's all brown water. That was false. Flic en Flac beach had crystal clear water while the ocean outside of Hilton was like cofee. Not being able to take long walks on the beach without crossing somewhat discugusting dirty river water was a big surprise. At high tide, you will get water waist high if you cross those river inlets. Would have been so easy to solve with accurate info and maybe even a shuttle that goes back and forth to Flic en Flac.

In heneral we had a good time. Tried to ignore the negative feelings.

Breakfast was good n big variety for all tastes. As no other place for comments a BIG THANK YOU TO ASSISTANT HEAD CONCIERGE MR JEAN MICHEL ELISA for his excellent service, assistance and care during our stay.

Cleanless was an issue as found plates cups as well as table mats dirty. Ants on tables n very annoying having cats around the food the tables aswell birds sitting on bread n cakes.

Perfect location, stressless luxury stay.

Location, facilities, and especially the people. Very helpful and friendly. We had some issues which have been resolved immediately above expectation. The people are customer oriented and so helpful with a great level of so positive surprise.

For us no issue but for purely french speaking persons, which is to be expected on this island, some of people with customer contact speak only english. Some of building construction needs refurbishment, good luck it is planned for next month, so should not be visible in future.

- The room was smelling and we found worms inside the shower, instead of changing it they sprayed a toxic product that we breathed for all our stay. Also there were ants everywhere in the room - we paid for half board (dinner should be included) but basically for every food you order you need to add money, unless you want to live from vegetables only. - The staff doesnt understand english and they made joke of me pretending to not understand a basic English word. - We paid the saloon for a waxing and they took out the skin during the process. Ive been In many hotels in Mauritius, this is definitely the worse one.
