Warm, safe, and inspirational!

Food served was home food made with care. Got the company of very wise and loving owners. Perfect care offered by the staff. Peaceful and homely. Comfortable and safe for solo travelers.

I didn't notice much to dislike.

Elegant

Location is near fancy Bazar, cruise booking center. Property is part of a beautiful Heritage bungalows. Caretaker Mr.Ramesh is extremely friendly , helpful and a fantastic cook. His aloo paranthas are heavenly.

The house is a heritage bungalow . Very beautiful.. but I feel since guests have access through the property it should b more neat and clean and well-lit. Even the veranda which is a common guests' sitting area has very shabby cushions and cushion covers. It can b made lively and very welcoming with very little effort .. I don't want to offend . Just that I loved it so much and thought it can b made so much better with very little effort.

Best hotel just like home

For me hill top lodge is not just a hotel ,it is just like my home.care takers Mr Ramesh and Mr pratul will care about your every need.Food is great.For couples this place is full of romance, every where greenery around your rooms, brahamputra is just near to it.You can enjoy ropeway, cruiser from here easily.Overall great place.

Poor and misrepresentation in pictures

Only saving grace was the manager mr ramesh. Helpful and prompt.

Not clean, cow dung odour all the time, gross misrepresentation of rooms, facilities and amenities on the booking sites. mattresses, cutlery, furniture etc were as old and unkempt as the house, no amenities in bathroom, shower , flush not working properly. breakfast was just bread and coffee. The owner should know that there is more to running a bnb than just dumping your discarded stuff in shoddy rooms. The guests coming over are obviously used to of better facilities. One can always get a better accommodation in the same price in the same area.

A quiet place in Kharguli.

A lovely location, just off the hill top. It was quiet and peaceful. Rameshji was very hospitable and accommodated all my requests.

The room had cobwebs and the furniture was a little damaged.

We stayed 2 nights in the little bamboo cottage and it was a very pleasant experience! Also we felt like home very quickly due to the kindness of Mr Ramesh and his staff. He helped us to find a good rental car company and he was very honest with us at all times. The bamboo cottage is very cosy and simple but very comfortable. We fell in love with how it was made and the bed and pillows where good enough. They provide a very nice breakfast as well as parking area.

Good

The staff, especially Ramesh is an excellent guy. He is doing the best he can with whatever he has. If I ever go back it would be because of him. The location is also great!! Very calm and serene place, not very far from the city centre.

Room size, no curtains on the windows, pillow very old and thin. Breakfast quality could be better.
