Location is fair. Ambience is fair. Up keeping is fair. Baths & toilets were clean.

Booking. Com filter as 3 star is deceiving. Facility doesn't go with any star. Poor cleanliness, poor linen, torn beds & linen. Facility handed over without cleaning, bed and waste basket full of food waste, strewn with... Overall, property is worth one third of what we paid, 6000.00 max for a night.

Best Location & Best And A Comfortable Cozy House.

The property was very spacious and the best was that every room had its own bathroom with toilet. Never stayed at such a beautiful house and a beautiful location like this before.

There were some hidden costs which we were not aware of such as BBQ charges even though it said that BBQ was included in the booking.

Nice and cozy family stay option with good food!

The High Garden Villa is a fantastic property for a family or a group stay of around 10-15 pax. Its an independent bungalow with good parking for 2-3 cars. There is a well-kept garden and lawn and a large open area. The location is convenient and close to most tourist locations in Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. The place has 4 bedrooms, a small kitchen and a large living room with a dining area. There is a spacious balcony as well for you to sit and have a nice conversation over a tea, coffee or a drink i.e. if you can bear the weather. Coming to food, we selected this places, basis the photos of the property and the positive reviews of the caretaker (Mr. Yadav), his hosting and his cooking. The food is hot and simple, yet delicious and tasty which everyone enjoyed. The portions were just enough for the no. of people. Mr. Yadav helps you with good vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian options - you just need to give him a heads-up. The food is not included in the package and needs to be paid for separately - but its worth it. He even helped set-up a bon-fire for the night - which the kids freaked-out on especially in the cold weather. Upon request, Mr. Yadav organized a trip to a local strawberry farm where kids could see how strawberries are grown and could even pluck a few ripe ones with their own hands - we paid the farm owner for the fruit but it was worth the experience . Since the villa has open space outside, you can surely do some star-gazing in the night skies. Overall a value for money stay. A big thank you to Ravindra (who helped in the coordination) and Mr. Yadav for helping with the stay and the food.

While there are not many things one could complain about, minor things like better door mats could be better. There is absolute need for a simple open shoe-stand, so that the footwear stays organized.

Perfect Getaway

Even though the villa is close to the main road it is peaceful throughout the day. The USP of this villa should be the food made by Yadavji (caretaker), he is a gem of a person and helped us with whatever we needed throughout our stay and made sure we received the best. If you want to order food u need to order it well in advance because he gets fresh ingredients for every meal but the food is worth the wait . Really satisfied with my stay

I liked the villa, space, location and the staff.

Bedsheets blankets and pillows could have been cleaner. They were smelly. Toiletries should be provided.
