perfect location, safe neighborhood, less than 5 min walk to union square, big and well organized kitchen, breakfast, purified water dispenser, free coffee 24/7, great common space, so closed to public transportation, I just loved it here, I think its the best place to stay to live the city

The staff, the facility and fhe overall culture created is wonderful

The common spaces were all comfortable and invited community culture

No complaints at all. Just maybe add some instructions for the room heater.

Good place to stay.

Location good, near Bart station. Close to all shops. Hostel staff lovely, very helpful. Place is clean, just looks a little tired and needs some sprucing up, but cleaners are very efficient. Beds ok, although sheets loose so end up sleeping on plastics coated mattress at times. Nice towels. Ok equipped kitchen. Breakfast ok and free.

Some pillows a little lumpy. Bottom sheets dont fit too well and very slippery on plastic mattress covers

The accommodation was beyond our expectations. We weren't expecting individual restrooms and showers. We were just booking the cheapest accommodation to sleep in. However, the accommodation had an elevator as well as individual restrooms and showers. We stayed in a room for 2 people. So, we're not sure if there are separate restrooms and showers in a shared room. The accommodation was very clean and well-organized. Free breakfast was offered and there were bread, bananas, coffee, butter and strawberry jam. It's very cost-effective, so don't hesitate.

This hostel provides male only dorm rooms just like female only dorms and mixed dorms. It's Something that not many hostels offer (male only dorms), but they should.

Superb

Friendly staff, very convenient location, just one block from Union Square, and excellent value for money. The shared kitchen is well equipped, clean and very convenient to use. I really like the cosy atmosphere of the place.

As expected from other guests' comments, the noise from the street can be heard a lot from the rooms as the windows are single-glazed. However, earplugs are available from the reception, which make it a lot easier to sleep :)
