Lovely stay and we will stay again.

The location was spot on. Have stayed at The Guy Fawkes years ago and had a room over looking the Minster. Our room was at the back but lovely, warm and very clean.

Location and setting were incredible. Guy Fawkes room was lovely. Well worth a visit. Nothing like this anywhere else.

Amazing experience, would definitely stay here again if I visit York again.

Location was amazing, right next to York Minster and an easy distance to walk to most places we visited. They provided free earplugs for our room as it was just above the beer garden which was a bonus.

Didnt pay for breakfast as I saw there were no vegan options on their menu before hand, so vegan options would be nice. Wasnt too much of a bother though as it gave us a reason to visit the local cafes for breakfast.

The location

The rooms are either over the courtyard or above the kitchen and the constant noise is horrendous we had to move rooms early hours of the morning due to not being able to sleep. It has nothing to do with the bar noise as that stops at 11.

Location

Room dirty, old and tired looking. Holes in curtains, mould all over bathroom and cracked tiles. Door deadbolt did not work, bed frame all chipped. 2 single mattresses with a double mattress on top. Cracked window.
