Lovely house by the beach

Everything was great and we had a memorable vacation there. The house is at perfect location right next to the bikini beach. It has a nice terrace at the second floor where the breakfast is served. I loved the Maldivian breakfast mashuni but they serve the continental too. Liusha was very helpful and nice, Ayran too and if we come back to Gulhi we would stay again at Gurus. We felt like at home. Great value for money.

We liked everything, Gurus met expectation we had from a guest house and even exceeded.

Disappointing

Location, very helpful host

Room was dated, furniture damaged. It wasn't dirty, but not spotlessly clean either. Shower was flooding most of bathroom's floor, as there was no curtain and it was rather like a small wet room. Booking.com's rating was "8.9 Fabulous", but it should be much less, more like 6.5 or so.

Very enjoyable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very good breakfast - alternated between Maldivian and Western. Nice to enjoy it on the balcony. (We were actually expecting a room with a balcony, a/c Booking.com, but it was not to be.)

The sunshade/parasol could have been more ... shady! Also we didn't know that we had to pay in *new* (or at least not old) US dollars (rule of Maldividan bank).

Amazing

The owner and the staff were absolutely AMAZING ! From the beginning to the final. They help us so much ! We had a problem on the bathroom, they fix it while we were are the beach.. The owner invited us for a diner they catch a fish and cook it for us this is incredible ! The place worth the price. Breakfast was good.. very close to the bikini beach.. 2 minutes. 10 10 across the board ! I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE AND THIS AMAZING STAFF!!!!!

The best located hotel in Gulhi, clean and well maintained.

The property is Amazing, well located, well maintained, very clean, delicious breakfast, transfer from and to port. We highly recommend it!!! we really enjoyed the stay.

Some difficulties to reach the owner by call or WhatsApp, especially on arrival.

Nice place next to the beach.

The location is excellent! It is super close to the bikini beach and nice local market with souvenirs. The owners of the place is super friendly and willing to help. There is kitchen, which can be accessed anytime so it was easy to prepare meal for the baby and cut fruits and etc.

2 of 4 rooms have no outside windows. It's OK if you stay for like 1-2 nights but quite hard for longer stay. If you will be lucky(as we were) you will be able to change room to the seaview one. And yea, having windows and see the sunlight at the morning is super geat.

The best choice in Gulhi.

Very helpful, honest and decent people. They made us feel like at home. Very good breakfast on a terrace overlooking the sea. They adjusted to our food requirements without any problems. Very clean rooms. The best location in Gulhi, next to the beautiful bikini beach. We will definitely come back to Gurus. Thank you Saud, Sharu and Iron for your kindness and cheerfulness, it was a pleasure to meet you.
