The hotel's location is absolutely spot on. The staff is helpful, kind, and always on the ball. Food at the Terrace restaurant was some of the best we had in all of India.

The bathroom could have better lighting. Apart from that, we absolutely loved everything about the hotel!

Rat running around first floor but I guess thats the problem with old buildings. Food is very ordinary for a hotel that is so expensive. Dining room is cramped, a bit scruffy and no ambiance.

Incredible hotel with great architecture and breathtaking view on Ganga river. Location and stuff 100/10.

I loved my stay in the hotel. I had most incredible stay in this spiritual holy city. The view from breakfast on the top terrace is beautiful.

Amazing views over the Ganges!

Wow! This 18th century renovated riverside mansion is amazing!! Our room was amazing with views over the Ganges. The staff all went out of their way to help and were very friendly. It was very handy to have access to the hotel boat which made it much easier to get to the sunset aarti show rather than walking through the alleyways. The boat men were so lovely. Communication before arrival was excellent.

If you have trouble with stairs or a lot of luggage then this probably isn't a good option. Also getting to and from the property daily through the tiny maze of alleyways is a challenge (we loved it but some probably wouldn't). The cost of they property is quite high.

Disgusting. The worst hotel we have been in India. We are really upset. The hotel was not clean at all. - The room was dirty !!!! Bed dirty with blood signs - The pillow was unacceptable yellow and dirty as i never seen before in my life - No manager on the floor just a young guy at the rception who i made complain since i arrived. He was not able to answer and find a solution for us during our stay . - Hotel location really bas situated. Its not write anywhere that you cannot reach the hotel by taxi. Taxy have to drop you 20 minutes by walk and street, trust me, they are not clean at all.. you can easily find rats, monkey, poop, cow while youre walking to the hotel. -ROBBER!!!!! Be carefull!!!! They charged me TWICE my on my credit card the extra !!! I just find out on my balance account. - we ordered once the food in our night when we arrived. Its write everywhere the room service close at 11 pm but since i arrived (9:50) they put me pressure to order The food was not good, acid as its like expired and cold. Nobody ask how it was. - Nobody apologized. - 200 euro for 2 nights overpriced and they did not even gave us the room we booked for.

A warm hospital hotel. Location, location, location

The hotel staff were fantastic. Food at the rooftop restaurant was divine. The location is very good, with most of the main sights being within throwing distance. The view of the sunrise from the hotel was excellent.
