Lovely, affordable apartment in a central location!

Everything! It was cleaned every day and bath towels were changed daily. For me, this is such an important thing to me. So well done as you hardly see host these days do this. The host was so kind to let us stay an extra 1 hour after check out as we needed to catch the BSI bus later. The apartment we stayed was well equipped. Location was very central to everything. We will highly recommend this place.

The sulphur smell, which is not the fault of the host. As its what the whole of Reykjavik experience due to the geothermal activity. It will be nice if the host mentions it to guests upon check in, as we didnt realise this until we were on the tour and the tour guide had mentioned it. Before then, we thought the bathroom pipes needed cleaning.

Warm, compact 'room A', ample for single winter traveller. Near the city. Free yet limited parking

Well placed on a quiet residential street only a short walk to the city centre. Plenty of heaters for the size of the space to easily keep the room warm and dry your garments. Good ensuite bathroom with the option for a bath or shower.

Although parking locally is mostly free as it is a residential area (thankfully - as parking in Reykjavik is eyewateringly expensive), therefore the on street parking spaces are very popular. It took half an hour touring the area waiting for someone to go; to find a space close enough to the hotel to transfer luggage inside. Room A is a converted single garage and is sized as such. The view is of the guesthouse service entrance doors and the side of the building providing limited privacy. Maybe due to the recent eruption, the hot water gave an extremely strong sulfur smell, unlike anywhere else I stayed in iceland where the eggy smell was barely perceptable. The plumbing in the ensuite loudly gurgled, glubbed, and rumbled sporadically, like it was alive, at random times all through the night.

Late check in after midnight, the staff put a note with my name on the main door and have me self-checked in. Super convenient! The room was clean, and the location was good, as well as super friendly staff.

Great one bedroom apartment

Really nice room in a great location close to the bus station and a short walk to Rainbow street. Great kitchen facilities, comfy beds. We stayed either side of a south coast trip and the second room was particularly good. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Emergency light in the main room with sofa bed was pretty light for sleeping.

Quiet, comfortable and so close to the center of the city.

They went above and beyond and had our room ready by 11:30am. So unexpected and kind. I was given a room upgrade, so I had a small kitchen and living room. That was a nice treat. The hotel is a short walk to the church and Rainbow St, so you are close to everything.

Just a minor issue, the WiFi didn't work in the bedroom area and the bedroom TV was broken, but there was a TV in the living room.
