It was a family run setup and very hospitable family

Breakfast was good on one day with local menu; the other day it was simple with bread; family run and they were very friendly and nice.

The room feels a bit cramped with the fan and table; could have helped to have the room re-organised and a working study table might have been more useful

A relaxing home

The hotel feels so clean and has an air of relaxation about it. The family showed great hospitality, made delicious food, and we were even lucky to be invited to a dinner party with their friends and family. It was delightful to meet their elder son Sagar, who was also extremely hospitable, was a very interesting partner for conversation, speaks great English, and answered many of our questions and explained many things about Nepal that nobody else was able to explain to us on this trip.

Getting there was a bit tricky: our taxi driver got lost and got stuck in the mud! It's probably a good idea to ask your taxi driver to call the hotel owner and ask for directions.

A special place

This place is really highly recommended! We spent six days with Shekhar, Kalpana and their children and they immediately made us feel like part of the family. The room was very clean - even more if you consider that you are in Nepal and the whole house was really new. As it gets cold in winter, there was a thick cozy blanket on the bad and a small plug-in-heater. Shekhar and Kalpana really made our stay so so special! We learned a lot about Nepal, its culture and cuisine and even learned how to make Mo:Mos! They were always super helpful and friendly. The whole experience really exceeded our expectations - if you want an authentic Nepali experience with the comfort of a hotel and the kindness of a homestay you should definitely come here :)

Nice location for a resort to be & a very good service

I am extremely happy with their accommodations, high level of service and abundance of kindness. Thank you very much for the pick up service. The location is great and the breakfast is fantastic. The staffs are amazing, very polite and the rooms are comfortable and immaculate. I enjoyed very much in this resort specially when we went for a short hiking with Mr. Shekhar operation manager. They treated me like family and I will definitely stay here when I come to Kathmandu in the future. Thank you
