Disappointing

Had higher expectations based on the descriptions and images, not good value

- Mr. Peak, the operations manager was available on call when needed and was helpful

- Rooms were older and less fresh than the images, also much less stocked that the images (no blender in the room, nor most kitchen items in the photos on booking) - Gym was old, rusting, and needed a cleaning. - Yoga shala was very dusty, but was cleaned at request - Working area is just a couple tables at the reception, outdoor, no AC - Felt like there was no staff around at any time and the place was unmanaged (no regular reception staff)

A wonderful relaxing stay in tranquil paradise while staying fit

We truly enjoyed our stay at Good Time Sports Resortso much so that we extended our booking. The grounds are peaceful, quiet and serene, surrounded by tropical trees and lush greenery. Perhaps our favorite thing was having access to the clean pool, basic outdoor gym and large covered yoga pavilion. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the beach. We hope to be able to stay there again someday.

Unfortunately, the restaurant/cafe was not open during our stay. It would have been nice to have coffee and breakfast at the resort in their beautiful outdoor dining space, but it was not meant to be. Fortunately there are restaurants just a short walk away.

The owner/manager is very kind and helpful, the team is very welcoming. Atmosphere is nice. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and you are in a big garden.

The shampoo available in the dispenser wasn't great.

peaceful quiet time in spacious suite set in beautiful gardens

We stayed 5 nights in the suite at Good time and were very comfortable. The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. The area is peaceful and quiet, with good beaches in walking distance as well as small convenience stores and a couple local Thai restaurants all within around or less than 15 minutes walk.

We had a lovely peaceful time & hope to stay again. Some of the buildings looks like they could do with a bit of maintenance and upkeep but everything was in working order.

The room was huge and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable and you opened your doors to greenery, felt like you were in the middle of a forest. There was free water to refill which was amazing ...no plastic waste! Staff were fantastic....picked me up and dropped me back to ferry and arranged my ferry ticket for me on way over. Pool was lovely and location is great....between 2 beaches, you could walk to both in 10/15 min.

Amazing location for active holidays in a very relaxing atmosphere!

The location was perfect, as it was very close to the beach, and the view from the resort was also amazing. The fact that it is a resort focused on sports is a big plus as well and makes it special and worth to stay in if you're planning to go to Koh Mak. I tried the yoga and Muay Thai sessions and I loved them! I really liked staying in Koh Mak. It is very easy to move around even without renting a scooter. At the hotel we got many recommendations of places to visit and to eat. There are many restaurants, some fruit stalls and minimarkets. The beaches are quiet and beautiful.

Despite the fact that we were disappointed with the state of the entire accommodation (especially in relation to the price) there is not a bad word to say about the manager. He is amazing and very helpful!
