Clean and central property but in need of modernisation

Central location

Very dated/basic parking is not exactly what it sounds. You are allocated a space but cars can not be moved until vehicles that arrive after you have left.

Wonderful friendly place in York

The host Mark was great, always on the end of the phone if you needed anything and he really couldn't do enough to help. The room was very comfortable, fantastic en-suite and considering the central location extremely peaceful. Also, parking included is a great bonus in the middle of York!

We have mused on this question for a couple of minutes and can't come up with a single negative, sorry!

Excellent B&B in the heart of York

Friendly owner and very helpful. Parking at a b&b so close to the centre is great. 5 minutes walk to the very centre of everything and at a great price. Rooms were clean, comfortable and nice that tea and coffee replenished daily too.

TV in the room was a bit of an odd angle, however not a major issue as we don't tend to spend much time watching TV on a trip away. Room was a little loud from upstairs, although this could have been some heavy footed guests. Didn't lessen our enjoyment of our stay in the slightest though!

The location was perfect but I will not be going back .

Location was perfect . Guest house needs updating , no where to dry towels , pillows very small . Mirror in bathroom to high. Parking isnt great. We suppose to have had the deluxe room it does make me wonder what the other bedrooms were like .
