I don't want to stay at this hostel any more.

Location isn't so bad, but we need to use water bus to get there. The bar is nice. The hostel looks good.

When I went downstairs to work as usual, to my surprise, there was no outlet I could use. When I was waiting to order a drink at the bar, I noticed a staff member make the fake bill and make a black customer sign it. The customer didn't pay for his drink and just said, "Thank you." When my turn came, the staff member said 5 euros for 4-euro drink. When I said to him it is 4 euros, he changed it to 4 euros. Toilets and showers are outside the room and there are not enough of them. No place to change clothes, difficult to use. Toilet was clogged and no water flow. This hostel looked cool, but was the worst during my trip this time.

Pleasant

Pleasant, relaxing place to stay. Could do with guidance about lights/noise in dorm at night?

Very relaxing, comfortable lounge/bar area. Felt comfortable and safe to sit alone there in evenings. Always food and drink available. Dorm en-suite shower/toilet cleaned well daily.

12-bunk dorm room (female): Hard to go to sleep before midnight, as overhead lights on all evening and not switched off until last one in bed. Difficult to have quiet room if there was talking or using underbed drawers after midnight. Would really benefit from more than one shower/toilet for 12 females, as always a queue in the mornings.

It was clean most of the time

No kitchen, so you have to go out every time to eat. No curtains in the bed, so not so much privacy. And hostel is located on separate island from the main Venice so you have to spend lots of money for public transport

Superb

Nice and value for money stay.

The staff was very helpful and very prompt in answering my queries before even coming to the hostel. He also gave us advice on where to eat and what to do. The rooms were spacious, and the toilets and showers were decent.

Some people were noisy and were inconsiderate of others, but that's not the hostel's fault. The shower area was slightly cramped.

Social area and the hostel wasnt in the crazy main island.

There was no hooks on the walls. The 12 beds room is very small.

Great hostel to stay in

Cheap coffees and food available, nice common area with TVs and a pool table. The staff were very informative and helpful.

Capitalist property

Hostel was clean and proper, luggage was accommodated before check-in.

No common room and kitchen provided by property. Hot drinking water was also charged, moreover the gaming area was also paid. Luggage rooms were also not free. Simply capitalism by the property.

A glorified student dormitory

The sea view and the decoration

Bed sheets and towels are not changed despite room service coming in to clean, they only wipe floors and surfaces and barely make the bed. The window partially opens, air conditioner for heating is a bit weak for the winter in venice. The ventilation fans in shower and toilet do not work, so if you have to go toilet the smell stays and ofcourse for shower a damp smell stays. Lamps on top of bed are not securely installed despite their manuverable design it is not safe to use them.

Everything was good.

Waterbus was expensive to cross the canal to the hostel and you should pay more money to go busy area and return back to hostel.Also food was very expensive at the hostel.
