Disappointing

One of the worst experiences in my years

The Ice at the Gaylord events

They didnt have breakfast and when we asked the staffed said oh we dont have free breakfast as a black women I felt very offended then when we going somewhere to eat the staff told us they were sold out so we had to end of leaving out of the resort to find food which was hard because of Christmas the only thing I liked about the hotel was the ice event they had going on but as far as the hotel I would never stay there again its not for us people & im not a person to say things like that but this experience was an experience from hell I do not recommend

Good but go off season

The staff and place was well kept and great place to stay lots to do and plenty and food and drink choices.

Took my family for the ice Christmas event and it was way overcrowded and overbooked also we went nye weekend so alot of stuff was taken down in preparation for nye event in hotel. Wish we knew about. Just to much going on and alot of people to find relaxation

Over priced but if you have extra funds to use it is a nice place to stay.

The ambiance of the place was really nice for the Christmas Holiday. The Cirque Du Soleil show was nice and if you have an atrium room with a balcony you can see it for free but bring binoculars to get a closer look They have Ice skating around $30 per person, an Arcade, and Bonus; free gym, pool and hot tub. You can go sightseeing by bus or go to nearby attractions for $$$$. Bonus! Free shuttle to the MGM Casino but all the Hotels offer this.

The amenities for $500 per night wear really basic. No extra space, no housekeeping unless you book 3 or more days and calls for concierge wear usually met by a guy with a bit of impatience. The internet is sketchy. Also nothing was included except 2 bottles of water a cookie and if you drink alcohol, a beer or a cocktail...one time only. Small refrigerator and basic coffee and tea for 2. Parking was almost $40 dollars per day, more if you used valet and the attractions were more expensive than an amusement park. The Christmas Ice package is best but otherwise it's like $60 per person more if you use the Ice Slide add another $30. Food for a family of 4 will cost about $150 per decent meal not including tip. The nearby hotels offer free Breakfast but the Gaylord has breakfast at around $35 plus tax per person. It's best if you stay one day only because pretty much everything is closed on Christmas. Stay at one of the less expensive Hotels near by and then walk over to the Gaylord for the festivities it will be just as nice and about $500 less. But if you have an expense budget of $2000 for a 2 day stay for 4 people(minus the room fee/parking fee) go for it! Otherwise it's a bit if a stretch to fill 2 nights with food and entertaining.
