First bed and breakfast, and it has given me lovely impressions for me to go to more!

I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities, such as the fresh fruit offered for breakfast and the bathroom was really clean and nice. The lobby was a plus with the fire place and different seating areas.

It would have been helpful to have a microwave (although the staff did say they would allow us to use the staff's private one the next morning) and more desk room to work (the only table available is the common table where people typically eat at).

The overall stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn was lovely. Everyone we came in contact with during our stay (guests and the hosts) were so wonderful. The communal areas were cozy, especially with the fireplace going. Would definitely stay here again!

The room we stayed in was lovely, it was just a little tight.

Fantastic from beginning to end, didnt want to leave

We loved our stay at Seattle Gaslight Inn, we plan to return in future when next in town. Fabulous property in a great location, breakfast was great, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and we loved meeting the cats! For anyone whos allergic the cats dont go upstairs near the guest rooms and they keep to themselves, easy to avoid if needed.

Loved everything about it. Check out Bakery Nouveau nearby (Im still dreaming about the croque monsieur), Adas Technical Books cafe for great coffee, Spinasse for beautiful Italian food (but book in advance!)

Great location in Capitol hill, great local recommendations from Ryan, good breakfast, easy check in, very friendly, welcoming, helpful and comfortable, we loved staying here.

Seattle Gaslight Inn is a beautiful and quaint house in the Capitol Hill district. It is quite a long way from Seattle City Centre. It is walkable (about 45 minutes down a rather steep hill), but the walk back to the house is quite challenging and takes about 1 hour on foot. Breakfast is very good (fresh fruit, delicious cakes, bagels and yoghurt). The owners live in the house with their 2 children and are there if you need help and advice.

The room we slept in (105) was a decent size with a private bathroom and toilet. The bed was a little squeaky but very comfortable. Unfortunately, the general soundproofing isn't great. The walls are quite thin and the house is situated in the air traffic lane of Seattle airport, with planes flying over the house every 2 to 5 minutes, early in the morning and late at night. Light sleepers, beware!
