Lovely little hotel right on the river. Experience ruined by having to pay twice for the experience due to fraud committ
Beautiful grounds, lovely staff.
Food was fine but not as good as at several other places we have stayed. I booked through the booking.com portal in July and received a message from within the app asking to reconfirm my credit card details. It turns out that the hotel had its messaging system hacked so i lost 586 euros to fraud. The hotel disclaimed responsibility saying it is up to my bank and booking.com. My bank said it is the responsibility of the merchant ( either booking.com or the hotel i can t get a clear answer). When i liaise with booking.com via their messaging system i either get a message saying someone will call you within 24 hours , and no one ever calls, or an automated template which keeps on asking me for information i have already provided ( bank statement showing the transaction including the amount and date as well as a letter from the bank stating i have cancelled my card and alerted them of the fraud.) Despite providing this information multiple times via the appno response. I have now spoken 3 times to different members of staff at booking.com. Each time very polite and helpful.i have been promised respectively that booking.com will take care of it, that they will send me all the information needed by emailand each timenothing. 6 months later from the original fraud and still the same run around. I can only assume that booking.com think that if they run me around enough i will get tired and let it drop. Not impressed either with the hotel for taking responsibility for their system being hacked, or booking.com for giving me the runaround.

On the whole a happy experience.
Excellent staff; polite, responsive and helpful. Excellent cleanliness. Reasonably good rooms. Ambience very good.
Food could have been better. Vegetarian options inadequate. Taste of vegetarian dishes could be better too. Non-Veg preparations were quite good.

Perfect little spot for a few days
Staff were great, very welcoming and very pleasant to be around. Everything about this place was nice. Facilities were really good. We particularly enjoyed the free fishing.
If we ordered meat from the restaurant, it would come with bones and sometimes the bones would be shattered into tiny little shards which would be everywhere in the food which made it particularly difficult to enjoy. Aside from that the food was very tasty. Some of the sockets/light fittings were faulty in the room but some of it was just old. But don't let this deter you it really was paradise.

The location was good and serene. We enjoyed the sunset by lakeside where tea and snacks were served. Food was good. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet spread. Lunch buffet was also too good.

Serene location with guaranteed value for money!
Location is awesome, far away from the noise and chaos of the city Rooms are really good, with a balcony and a lake view to sit and relax during evenings Services are professional and value for money Food quality (including complimentary breakfast) has options and nice in taste Support staff is quite friendly and helpful
Since I just stayed for a night, I do not have any points of improvement for the property

No rules were followed in swimming pool. 22nd Oct 23 people from outside not resident were in the pool without swimming costumes,without shower and created so much noise.
