The Florenta Hotel offers affordable prices, friendly staff, and a great location. The breakfast is delicious, especially the sweets. Nearby attractions such as the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar are o (Read More)nly a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has a quiet street and a terrace/dining room on the top floor that guests can use. The rooms have good showers, comfortable beds, and a fridge. Overall, the hotel provides a great experience for guests.

Very good

Florenta experience

Location- near to all the tourist attractions,walktable distance to Grand Bazaar, the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. The hotel also pre offered us with transportation to and fro airport-this was a plus since it was our first time to Istanbul and we were just there on a layover. The hotel also allowed us an early check in upon our arrival which was about 7am without any extra charge.

None, perhaps only the pic of the frontage shown in booking.com might not appeared the same as the reality. This hotel is located in one of the many back alleys and it might be confusing and difficult to find.

It was a good one day stay despite all the challenges with finding the hotel

The location was good in the middle of Bazaar. The staff were also friendly and coopertive

We arrived in the evening, and the area was extremely dark because all shops around it were closed. The light of the hotel sign itself was not on as well which was almost impossible to find the hotel. In addition, the phone number provided on booking.com and everywhere online couldnt be reached which made finding the hotel, specially in the evening, very hard and frustrating. However, after sharing all of these with the hotel, the receptionist tried to compensate us by giving us a bigger room and immediately opened the light of the hotel sign. Last challenge we faced was that the credit card machine wasnt working and we didnt have cash.

Very good

Excellent value for money

Breakfast was an excellent array of Turkish dishes. There was unlimited tea, coffee and juice available all day in the dining room. The location was excellent, halfway between Sultanahmet and the Grand Bazaar and close to tram stops. The hotel changed hands while we were there and the new receptionist spoke excellent English and was very helpful.

Very good

The hotel is in a good position, you can reach the major touristic points walking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Hasan. The breakfast was good.

We stayed for four days. The personel was very kind, especially Hasan is a great person, our son Liam became best friend

The breakfast was great. Very well located in the Sultanahmet area, close to all the atractions.

The room is small, also it's aging. Needs some renovations.

Ok, not bad, not great. Staff were friendly, breakfast poor, hotel needs work.

The location

Not the best, the view from my room was awful, I might as well have been staring at a rubbish dump. Hotel really needs a revamp, really shabby looking. Bed was uncomfortable.
