Accessibility to Metro is about 1,5km and a short Rickshaw ride. Location. Decent spread of Breakfast. H Staff.

Had to call Front Desk to fix several small niggles that for a brand like Marriott is unacceptable: 1). Safe was not working and had to be replaced twice! 2). Fridge wasnt working and was replaced. 3). A/C never cooled . 4). Toilet Bowl and wash basin was stained / dirty and was cleaned after pointing out. 5). Soap Dispensers were empty. 6). Several in room dining trays with leftover food fill the lobby and remain uncleared for way too long. Probably why I found cockroach in my room. 7). The lobby carpet on my floor was never vacuumed once the five nights I stayed. 8). I was with my wife and they gave me a room with two single bed and said I asked for it although I cant believe I would have!!! Even upon realizing, the suggestion to give us a room with Double Bed just didnt come!

Passable

Stayed a night just for sleepover and chose this because I needed to be closer to my work the following day. Nothing great as such.

There were pests in the washroom. The flush was broken. No hot water when I needed it. There were many concerns. But since I was there just for a night, I lived with it. Will not be coming back.

The room I got was not to my expectation. But they quickly change it. I don't understand how sm travellers rate the rooms. I always read reviews, then book but most of the time we are mistaken. The way the photos and real look of rooms are different

Location great but.....

The location is great.

Dour-faced staff who've clearly not been trained at front desk hospitality. Was being shoved into a room on the smoking floor before I threw a sissy fit and got a non-smoking room albeit with a queen-sized bed (original booking was for a king-sized bed). There's a weird stench in the lift lobby on the ground floor indicating the area hasn't been aired out in years. The lack of newspapers to read is another disappointment.

Marriott in good hands

Host Deepak Mishra and Ashwini made our stay very comfortable. They were attentive and coordial.

The washroom needs renovation. The lighting arrangement in room needs attention. The room service is slow. The carpets in lobbies have become old and needs replacement. However both Ashwini and Deepak are trying to improve the situation.They are gradually renovating washrooms and lighting in rooms. It is work in progress. I hope that situation would improve during my next stay.
