Special stay for Christmas

This was an amazing Christmas stay. You got a lovely welcome by the staff which included a drink and help with your bags from the front door to your room. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the view out to the ocean was fab. All staff that we communicated with were friendly. The pool was great, chilled and again had a great view out to the ocean. Fab breakfast with lots of options. Bar menu had meal option's. The cocktails were great but more pricey than most places we've stayed. Overall fantastic.

Hotel Management Issues

The location is central to all beaches and restaurants. It was not necessary to have a rental car while lodging here, as taxis and fares are relatively inexpensive.

This critique is of the management staff of the hotel. I prepaid for a room for 2 nights for 2 guests each night, via Booking.com. Upon checking in on December 22, 2023 . I gave the receptionist the name of my intended guest, that was not present at the moment. My guest later informed me that she would not be able to arrive until the following day. My guest was apolgetic, and stated that she had a relative that was near and could accompany me for the first night. Upon the arrival her relative, the receptionist, Mr. Victor informed me that he would have to remove data of original guest, in lieu of the new guest. The relative left the hotel the following day December 23rd, around 11 am. On December 23, around 5 pm, my original intended guest arrived. We were called by staff, as I walked with her to my prepaid room. The staff member informed me that there would be an additional charge of $300,000 COP to allow her admittance to the hotel. I explained to him the situation that had occurred, to no avail. I paid an additional fee for an additional guest, when in reality, the room was occupied by only 2 people each day. By hap and stance, I had a conversation with the hotel manager (Mr.Carlos) in the elevator on the 22nd of December. He was cordial, as we engaged each other in small talk as to where I was visiting from and my experiences in Cartagena. Mr. Carlos was not wearing any official identification that would have identified him as the manager. At the end of our brief conversation, he informed me that he was indeed the hotel manager and that if I had any issues to bring them to his attention. Once again, by hap and stance, my original intended guest and I were having breakfast on December 23rd, and I noticed Mr. Carlos having breakfast. The location is perfect. The pool is amazing. The breakfast although abundant, lacks in quality and flavors. The staff is great, specially Elias. Greta views from our bedroom.

On breakfast the eggs and the bread were normal. Fruit was great.

Very poor

There was nothing special or outstanding from the hotel or its staff. No reason to stay longer or to come back.

Location. It was near enough to the city center.

Staff attention was mediocre at best. Shower pressure was non existent. Tv was broken. Couldnt open a tab in the pool bar even though they had my credit card information.

Everything from the welcoming staff at the entrance; the entrance cafe and design; the lobby and Sushi restaurant; lobby design and staff; the pool and spa; the food; the attention to any request by the staff; the rooms; 24hour room service and the prices!!!!!

Good overall besides thin walls!

The pool area and across from the beach

Thin walls! You can hear what the other guests are listening to word for word. We were woken up by house keeping every morning from talking in the hallway.
